Well it hasn’t taken long to unilaterally break the EU deal again. Britain has decided that the ‘no border in the North Sea’, actually works a bit like a border and screws N Ireland. So instead of negotiating, we extend the ‘grace period’ to October.
Now ignoring whether you are a remainer or a leaver, surely we can all agree that unilaterally breaking an International agreement is wrong. It just seems that our negotiators didn’t actually know what they were doing.
Given the other messes in Ports & Fishing - what were they actually doing for 4 years!?  |

Brexit related news, crises and renegotiations will go on forever as the U.K. tries to polish the turd called Brexit.
Even if you were to accept the frankly idiotic arguments about needing to be free of the undemocratic, corrupt, fascist organisation called the EU... Would it not be an idea to make sure that your own people are not hugely disadvantaged by the process of quitting?
It seems quite bonkers to me to that ordinary people and small businesses are (and will be further) detrimentally affected by the process of making things better for them. |

Steven Barclay now twisting logic like the best of them. Confirming that real time NHS funding will fall whilst at the same time confirming record funding of the NHS.
Commenting too that despite record lending and a poor economic prognosis, starting tax rises in years to come, rather than now will not cause any risk to the economy by unfavourable movements in interest rates.
As for breaking international law - it’s OK because we are committed to protect businesses in Northern Ireland. No need to resolve it working with others - we do what we want even though we signed and ratified an international agreement to say exactly that we wouldn’t do any such thing.

You surely don’t believe this! We both signed the deal. Boris said it was a great deal and no barrier would exist in the North Sea.
If we can’t be trusted on this deal, why should any other country trust us in a trade deal?
I disagree with Brexit, butmy point here is that we are being led by incompetent buffoons & not donkeys. These idiots have screwed up everything over the past 4 years and they are just lining their friends pockets.
Hauliers, Ferrymen, Fishermen, etc are struggling because this Govt did not and does not have the faintest idea about the impact of their decisions. More worryingly, when caught out by reality, they double down with their lies and pretend it is just teething problems.
We should not be trying to muddle through, as the Army say - Piss Poor Planning Promotes Poor Performance. This lot are as about as Piss Poor as you can get. |

The EU has not yet signed and ratified the deal they requested more time, to which the UK government agreed."

Less jobs for the port workers in Fishguard, Holyhead, Stranraer & Belfast. Fewer jobsonnthe fewer ferries. Not really helpful to many, many people. |

Right now the trade agreement is provisionally ratified, if the EU fails to permanently and fully ratify the agreement then there will be tariffs on trade. |
