MP’s - 650 of them yet only the same old handful heard or seen for a year now.
Are they self isolating, working from home, helping out at hospitals, aiding constituents, furloughed?
As we recover, a suggestion to save money. Half the number to 325, convert the John Lewis store in Birmingham to a new House of Parliament, change the old one to a tourist attraction with hotel & conference centre. |

You old cynic! If you were in a socially distanced arms length I would spank you!
No, but it’s central and I think J Lewis are moving out. It would be a boost for all the swingers clubs and make saunas in the area also. |

Total ridiculous idea.
All 19 countries in the G20 group have their parliment or equivalent based in their capital city.
Why on earth would it move to Birmingham or anywhere else.
If you have a problem with it you can blame the Italians (Romans) for making Londinium the capital city to start with.
Maybe if Birmingham was the Roman capital they may have left earlier!
But I agree there are to many MP's and making the London Labour MP's obsolete would be a good start! |

Very good point that. Perhaps we should keep parliament in the capital, but move the capital to Northampton? Much closer to the geographical centre of the country, reducing the travel time and cost for a majority of the MPs. |

That was pretty funny. I thought the outrage would have been about the reduction in the number of MPs, leading to less a representative parliament without any of the smaller parties, and there being huge constituencies with Maps giving even less of a shit about the constituents.
Personally I don't give a fuck where the parliament is located. Maybe they should move. I guess the rent is cheaper in Grimsby than central London. |

I believe as a proud Lancastrian that the actual centre of the UK to be Lancashire. As for parliament I don’t give a fuck but I’d love to see it moved around the whole of the UK imagine the infrastructure investment then x |
