"Could that be classed as treason? " Sadly flag desecration is not an offence in the UK. In France you can be fined 7500 Euros AND even desecrating the Brussels cabal flag is an offence. She should as a political leader be investigated on a broader point of Sedition and Assisting the enemy, with a life sentence.

Manchester does not have a flag. I thought we had worked through your credibility issues before. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Greater_Manchester Greater Manchester has a flag, so does Preston, your lack of knowledge is embarrassing, again, -30 now I almost feel embarrassed for them when they post such nonsense as facts. Almost, only almost I know, but Chris lives in a world of make believe and unicorns were facts and reality will always confuse him Sounds like Brexitland Brexitland is like Disney land massive queues and over priced goods . You better get onto Wikipedia and tell them they’re wrong then No need, I have seen the greater Manchester flag, it exists , tbh , this is all your attempt to deflect from the fact that you think that Brussels shouldn’t have have a flag. Poor effort Chris , " The Bolton flag has no more validity than if you made a flag of Carol Vorderman and stuck it off your chimney

"If the scots are serious about their independence, then why are they waiting for permission from Westminster, why don't they just declare independence and kick the English out, same as we in Ireland did in 1921, They probably will have to form their own underground army, let's call it the SRA and be prepared to shoot a couple of thousand English soldiers and policemen and be prepared for mabey 5 times that number of there own innocent people to be killed by the English, terrible price, but that is what you have to do to get rid of the British empire " Thug

"Well done Nicola keep up the good work and piss Boris off. Think we will change our profile photo to the EU flag. Do you really think Boris gives a toss? Unless it impacts the Tory vote, he doesn't give a fuck. " This is very true, the Tories don’t need the Scottish vote, but Labour do. Scottish independence would work out nicely for a mainly English Tory government in the rest of the UK, it’s why I find it crazy that some English Labour supporters want Scottish independence.

Same as Scottish & Welsh, after all it wasn’t just the English or the English empire x I know people try to score points about using empire but the British empire seems about the right name as it was built by the people of the British Isles, I just thought I’d try to add some facts x

"Is it not a democracy- most votes wins? What is it with people who don’t understand how that works? Scots are pretty politically savvy in general and they do realise that political decisions are made in the Scottish parliament rather than at the whim of a mere woman. I have a very uncomfortable feeling that the vast amount of comments about her on this thread are inherently sexist- she is a strong, intelligent and successful woman in a position of power and that is not how world order should be. The fact that England has bumbling fools of men just emphasises that." To speak of Parliament making decisions and then speak of England (it's actually the UK) having bumbling fools of men as an argument for sexism isn't entirely accurate. The UK Patliament has 34% of female representation

I've seen many Labour supporters say the Conservatives only got x% of registered voters. And many remainers say Leave only got x% of vote. They got 45% of votes, they didn't get 45% of voters. There's a clear difference. I've already told you I don't dispute they won more seats But the people of Scotland voted them in? I'm genuinely struggling to see what point you are trying to make. They are the most popular part in Scotland. That's a fact. Around 30% of the people of Scotland voted for them. That's registered voters. That's hardly indicative of the whole country. As I stated, plenty of remainers and Labour voters use the exact same argument when it comes to the UK and EU. It's the system we have and I accept it. Well we arent talking about the uk and the eu. The people of Scotland voted them in with a majority. So I hope she keeps up the good work Oh I see. Because we aren't talking about them we can't use your own argument regards those votes against it Cheers mate, it's been fun " Ha ha..yeah I'm the king of whatabouttery. It's an utterly surreal argument. You are desperately trying to present some sort of argument that they have less legitimacy in place because of the electoral system we have in place. If you are that concerned that the electoral system why not do a thread about how its flawed in the whole of the uk and not just scotland? Or is the answer to that too obvious?

"Is it not a democracy- most votes wins? What is it with people who don’t understand how that works? Scots are pretty politically savvy in general and they do realise that political decisions are made in the Scottish parliament rather than at the whim of a mere woman. I have a very uncomfortable feeling that the vast amount of comments about her on this thread are inherently sexist- she is a strong, intelligent and successful woman in a position of power and that is not how world order should be. The fact that England has bumbling fools of men just emphasises that. Tbf I think it's more to do with the fact that she quite often makes boris look even more foolish. She is coherent, competent and can string a sentence together. We have had threads about her painting her house and not wearing a mask at a funeral. But apparently this is due to a genuine concern for the Scottish people. No, she is smug and condescending when asked a difficult question or one she can't answer, with her little laugh, as if the interviewer is stupid. Awful person and being completely dishonest about most things. Scotland will be well rid of her Well the people of scotland appear to disagree. Around 30% of Scots voted SNP Where do you get 30 % from? Wasn’t it 45% or there about’s yet like on another thread this is the democracy we have, they got 48 out of 59 seats roughly 77% of seats. Technically more people didn’t vote for them than did, but they got a disproportionate amount of seats to votes like no other x You could apply that logic to a lot of elections including here. The bottom line is more people voted for them in Scotland than anyone else . I'm struggling to understand why this is even being debated. Your quite correct on your first point Lionel & I did say that this is the democratic process we have. The bottom line still remains that only 45 out of 100 people voted for the SNP so therefore 55 out of 100 did not, or the majority didn’t not. It’s being debated because you can’t do the maths for yourself mate x. " I'm sorry. Can someone point out an actual point to all this?

"Surely the only relevant point is that more people voted for the SNP than voted for anyone else ? No voters and other party voters don’t really come into it! It’s who wins on the day out of the possible figures " It also says more people on the day didn’t vote SNP, by a greater percentage than those who did vote for them on the day. (Westminster election) The Holyrood election - only 56% of the nation turned out to vote. Percentage of the vote share doesn’t really suggest SNP are resoundingly popular in Scotland
