"the only developed nation in the world, not taking its fair share of refugees."

Are there any refugees from nations that wouldn't possibly constitute a severe national security risk to Israel?

Who would want to immigrate there? I mean it’s a nice enough place, but I don’t see anyone unhappy in Lebanon wanting to sneak over. They are despised by all who surround them. Hopefully that changes after the efforts made over the fall of 2020.

Do you know someone trying to go, or are you just pointing them out as not being open for the sake of pointing it out?

How things change in the woke world

When i was young in the 70s Israel was lauded by the " trendy " young things of the time for rescureing its ethnic Jewish minorities from places like Iraq and Sudan, to name just a couple, and resetteling them in their biblical home, now isreal, at the time they were lauded as the underdogs being saved from terrible agressors, but time moves on and fashions change, now the Israelis are the bad guys and some other guys are now the victims, OH we are such fickle judges here in our smug, superior rich, post colonial, western Europe

Some of the Gulf States are very reluctant to take refugees as well Saudi actually makes the process costly

Considering the Arab refugee crisis I find their reluctance stranger than Israel.

Or just judging people on their actions rather than nationality, religion or ethnicity.

I’m thinking that also as Israel’s actions create refugees then they would be unlikely to want to claim refugee status in the country that made them.

What do you mean by "woke"?

If it's ok to return to your biblical homes, give Palestine back to the Philistines.

The youngsters of Spain and Italy are desperate for a job anywhere, don't think they'd be a threat.

Either way, just because other countries do, it doesn't mean they are obliged to.
