I am not following all the story, but the national guard leaders in california and washington state want the defence department to consider expanding the size of the force as troops are increasingly called upon to respond to the crises across the country, is the reasons cos of civil unrest?

Who will suffer?"
The elected officials. Let them deal with their own civil unrest. All of a sudden they want help. They allowed it to happen so they get to deal with it. I doubt red states will send troops anywhere to quell unrest after how thier troops got treated in DC. |
