Well its another fine mess, 500 UK businesses leaving the UK to go to the EU.
The more we see the dog’s dinner of a deal, the more we see how our economy in going down the pan.
We may have vaccine, but its no good if we cannot have an economy to recover?
Apologize now brexiteers, you’ve made a massive mistake. |

The operative word in the Guardian article is "could".
Many UK businesses are looking at warehousing and office facilities in the EU, and The Netherlands are leading the race on this.
Most of the 500 are actually additional facilities, rather than moving the whole lot to the EU. |

So it works both ways then. UK companies setting up offices in EU and EU companies setting up offices in the UK |

Utter tosh - they're NOT "leaving the UK", they may be opening offices in the EU just like thousands of EU/US and rest of the world companies open in the UK and other countries every year.
Apologise now remainers, you got it badly wrong.

"More than a thousand EU firms plan to open UK offices - daily business group Dont say that it only works one way.
Well it's pretty obvious to anyone with any common sense really , considering we have a trade deficit with the EU and you're looking at businesses from 27 countries compared to 1,that more would be coming this way. You would think that remainers would get it by now and start to apologise "
Remember 27 is a bigger number than 1, that club has more power economically, and they can flex it more, and run threats against us.
We are not as great as we were because brexiteers made us weak and feeble. |

That was the argument used to try to get the UK to join the EU procurement program. Seems this 1 small insignificant country is doing better than the entire 27 |

Those businesses are not moving, they opening an addition, that must create more jobs on both side of the channel.
Just why are they opening either side of the channel, most probably to give themselves the opportunity to get the best out of global trading, import / export from the most favourable place.
So if anything it is big bonus for the UK and EU states due to Brexit. If you were a EU state and wanted to set up outside the EU prior to Brexit, then the border countries and North Africa leave a lot to be desired. The UK gave gave them the ideal opportunity.
From the 1st July the 135 euro limit on VAT orders vanishes, VAT will be charged at point of sale, that will in both directions, so clearly the businesses setting either side are doing it other reasons than retail sales. |

You do realise that the article you quote was written over a year ago.
If you can point me to something showing that this has actually happened or is going to happen, I would be most interested.
Thank you |
