Chorley,

It's disgraceful what the Government has done to the fishing industry were promised the earth by the UK government.

But since Brexit it has just been made worse for them with all the extra red tape that is involved now. There is just no benefit to Brexit and never will be.

I feel sorry for the Scottish fishing industry, shellfish is the type of business you dont get a second chance with, importers look for new suppliers, good for Ireland I'd imagine.

"What did boris promise them?"

Boris sent out 4 warships to keep our british fishies but now the Scottish lads are sailing off to Denmark with our little fish all due to the incompetence of boris

At this rate will a unicorn ever appear.

And just seen something Boris is blaming the exporters for the chaos he says they are not filling in the paperwork correctly think they should get him to go and shoe them then. What an idiot he is the worst PM we have had in s long time.

Hope all the fishermen who voted for Brexit end up on Universal Credit. I have no sympathy for them because of self imposed sanctions.

So now people who voted against this situation, against people losing their jobs, want job losses!

And what people who voted for this situation, job losses etc, are what? Absolved from blame?

Some unorthodox logic going on here.

It mean people need to understand what actions they are taking and every action have consequences. One of the consequences is job lost on all sector even my sector I'm not immune from this. We had the best deal in the EU and we flush it down the toilet. We had a six course meal and swapped it for a hamburger without ketchup. Please people inform yourselves of the (facts) and not the alternative facts before you make a critical judgement like that in the future.

I'm not sure who you're addressing here. But I can confirm, when I showed up the ballot box in 2016, I selected "no" to the proposal to flush the country down the bog just so a few rich people could continue to avoid paying taxes and make some wedge off currency trading.
