Low profile. Still reeling from their recent massacre.

Tories with a conscience...which is why they struggle. It's a shame because if any party could really expose the Tories in the centre ground, it's the Lib Dems.

Many thought that was possible when in they were in the coalition but they were too obsessed with power. Now they're struggling as they have no clear identity. But then you could say the same about most parties.

"As one of the few parties that want to return to membership of the EU they should start gaining support faster than anyone else"

Not with FPTP.

1 vote for the LD is 1 less vote for Labour.

Unless we see reform in the voting system we will never see LD (or any party other than Labour or the Tories) in power.

With the current gerrymandering, the likelihood of scots independance and labours insistence on fighting themselves rather than the most corrupt cabinet in history i dont think i will ever see another labour government

If the tories can get away with their current shit, i have no idea what they would have to do to lose an election

I think people have acknowledged how bad the Tories have managed things, but the usual response is "But good thing Labour weren't in power otherwise thing will be worse!".

The Tories are have manipulated media so much that even the "Red Wall" constituencies are turning blue. You can thank the likes of the Mail, Cambridge Analytica, Facebook, etc for that too. Dispite what some think, the BBC are not bias towards the left wing. For the sake of "neutrality" they have allowed certain figures to appear on their programmed unchallenged, such as the EU citizen Mr Farage.

I do agree its not a great system though remember A certain N. Farage done very well in the PR system of the EU elections. I think Germany has that kind of system to or similar and the AFD have benefited

Could be one of the reasons nige was banging on the door of the German embassy the day after brexit. Could he be lining up a tilt at German politics? Or was it to maintain the many benefits of free movement in europe.

I had a very brief look at articles on this new party. Seems he sticking in the UK and contesting in Scotland too which surprised me though I think they use PR system so maybe that's the reason. Could be lively if he helps with campaigning up there lol
