They where doing that in the 80's when I first went there and crossing some state boundaries you could not take fruit from one state to another really odd |

This is what we signed up for and so must be another win for sandwich makers in Holland.
Btw the U.K. aren’t stopping all self drive trucks coming in as they don’t have the staff and don’t want shortages on the shelves so I think they can keep their pack up. . Yes that is true uncleared trucks being waved through.
On the flip side there is a large backlog building in Rotterdam with shippers having trouble getting unaccompanied trailers cleared to import.
I’ll give an update on the HMRC delays to us later this week but if the delays continue we will be stopping three routes as the delay costs are getting out of hand.
Turns out if the trucks are delayed by HMRC at the U.K. inland customs sites through no fault of their own they are being made to pay parking after two hours. The website states expect delays of 1-2 hours so parking after two is unbelievable.

Turns out HMRC system didn’t update last night and large number of drivers sent home from ports as not allowed to deliver .
Chief system is starting to wilt as volumes increase.
It’s exciting if nothing else . On and costing a fucking fortune . |

There was a lot of tactical voting and not standing in constituencies to avoid splitting the vote. The intention was to punish the DUP for their fuckery. It worked as well, they lost two seats and failed to win a third.
