They should rename the presidency "The Big Show"
They knew what they were getting when they elected the Umpa Lumpa so what did they expect.
And this from the most powerful laughing stock (nation) on the planet. 
The only one potential good thing that may come from it is if Congress actually do ban social media. |

Part of me thinks he ought to get terminal lead poisoning, like JFK, but another part of me thinks that will turn him into a martyr
The best thing that could happen now I'd that he gets banned from social media, banned from operating a TV channel or station and gets starved of publicity, because that's the only thing that sustains him. I doubt he knows or cares what he says as long as eyes are on him.

He tried to overthrow a legitimate election on completely unfounded claims that the election was rigged. In America, they decide the presidency with an election. He lost the 2020 election but claimed he won. There was no alternative election that he won. He provided no evidence in court that he won.
Yet he stirred up his supporters and got them do believe he is the legitimate president. He has delegitimised the next president in the eyes of tens of millions of Americans on zero evidence. His ranting and false claims led to a mob descending on the seat of power in the United States to try to overturn a legitimate election.
He wants to be a dictator. He wants to overturn a legitimate election. He tried to stage a coup.
He should he tried for treason. |

There is a danger of things escalating but I don't think there are enough so passionate to cause widespread insurrection. There are enough to cause serious pockets of trouble but not enough to ultimately damage the overall fabric of the country.
Trump has been told that if he and his family have any pretentions of a political future that he must calm things down.
I hope his actions have gone too far now and he has damaged any chance of him being elected again.

He went too far, not as far as he wanted the mob on his behalf to actually go as I think he would have been ok with the mob murdering some of his political opponents in Congress..
Now he's once again showing his vile cowardly ways by deserting those he both incited and set off to commit armed insurrection..
This latest bs from him is only about him being worried that corporate America will rightly shun him in two weeks, he's shot himself, his family and the mob in both feet..
He is essentially dog mess unless he flips again and goes further in his madness but I think the system will stop him now, Pence is effectively the temporary commander in chief.. |
