You can criticise the CCP for their suppression of the media etc, but China, South Korea, Taiwan and other East Asian countries have been exemplary in their management of Covid 19.
When you compare them to the total disaster of plans put in place I Europe, and in particular the most right wing horrendous regimes (USA, UK, Brazil etc) then there is no comparison. If only those countries had acted in the interests of their people, rather than the few at the top continuing to roll in their profits, then many many lives would have been saved. |

Just my opinion but I think we are scared of China so like to raise it whilst trying not to offend.
We as a nation don’t stand up to abuse. Look at how many goods we buy from China.
Nigeria would be the richest country in Africa if it wasn’t for corruption.
The greed of the few means bad education and poverty for most and easy hunting grounds to recruit illiterate religious fighters.
Saudi keep our banks liquid and our arms sales up so we won’t say boo to them.
I think we are too weak these days to shout too loud. |
