That's not how being in opposition works.

It is honestly the easiest job on the planet. Get paid well for being a critic with no responsibility.

That said. BoJoke and co are royally fucking things up.

That said. It would be worse if the Corbyn/Abbott axis of stupidity were in charge.

That said.......yeah I'm out of defence for politicians.

"Yes .. that fool needs to support in a time of crisis..

Should he support the £20 billion Boris handed to his mates for sub par PPE?

Should he also support the 7th highest death rate in the world?

How bad do things need to get before he's allowed to question the government, (which is after all the opposition's duty to do so)?

I think you need to start actually looking at Boris and his abject failure before putting up crap like this.

You might want to go back and read the actual exchange at pmq’s on Wednesday.... because it’s johnson’s reply which was the dickish one

It’s Tory mps that johnson was pandering to.... it’s actually been Tory mp’s that have been voting against legislation

You are wanting to pin it on starmer.... he actually asked a reasonable question at pmq’s, have you actually read the answer?

Again... labour have been voting WITH the government on the tier legislation, even though they think the restrictions should be tougher and should have come in earlier ... it’s been conservative mp’s that have been voting against

So again Tom... have you actually bothered to read the exchange at Wednesdays PMQ’s

Well you are actually criticising Starmer for his response..... his response was to johnson reply to his question at PMQ’s on Wednesday !

So again..... let’s ask the question...

Did you bother to watch PMQ’s on Wednesday? If the answer is no, then just be honest rather than making yourself look more and more like an idiot....

Then since he is a member of the government, maybe you ought to go to your local mp surgery next time.... after all.. would he not have an insight on policy!

All starmer has done is call for lockdown 2 before the government did a u turn and brought in lockdown 2, and say the government needed to relook at the relaxation at Xmas, before the government did a u turn on the Xmas relaxations.

And yet for all the reservations.. the Labour Party has not as a whole, voted against any of the government Covid restrictions... not once

Is this why you hate him? Because he actually looked at the actual medical advice and came to the conclusions before the conservative administration did

Abstaining isn’t voting WITH the government.

My Labour MP defied the Starmer sit on the fence order, and although I didn’t vote for them at the GE, I have more respect for them now than I did before - abstaining isn’t being an opposition- its lazy and a weak cop out to offering a credible alternative.

Stalin once ripped all the feathers off a live chicken as a lesson to his followers. He then put the chicken on the floor a few steps away from him. The chicken was bloodied and hurting terribly, however when the reached into his pocket and threw some wheat grains to the chicken it started to follow him around the room.

He said to his followers “this is how easy it is to govern stupid people. They will follow you no matter how much pain you cause them, as long as you throw them a worthless treat every now and again.

For the last 60 years despite who’s been in charge 99% of us have just worked and accepted our lot. A few have done well I agree.

In the 80s at the time of the financial Big Bang huge fortunes were made in London. Did any of you notice the benefit? With me tech revolution again a few made fortunes, Did our NHS suddenly have everything it needed. Did our society benefit as a whole? With our hard work we’ve slowly become a little better off but it’s slow and hard and people are still homeless.

Without being loyal to your colours or party do you suspect we are mostly that chicken?

I like that Stalin story it reminds me of the eu the few treats are roaming charges, air fare refunds etc and they make the companies pay for them which in turn is passed on to the customers it doesnt cost the eu a penny.Thats how easy it is to govern stupid people.

Cleaner water , beaches, air, food standards, easy trading, cheaper trading, security, etc etc ., but that’s not my point.

So back to my point on the U.K. governments do you think we are really being lead along like little kids ?

I can’t see any major improvements in the working man’s (women’s) life chances, The main parties always have a planned agenda that doesn’t ever seem to say what’s going to help us all.

It’s a made up story , first told 30 years after Stalin’s death by an anti Stalinist writer called Chingiz Aitmatove . The first ever reference to this story was published in the 1980s , Aitmatove wrote mainly in an elliptical allegorical ways to attack Stalinist/ Soviet supporters .. In layman’s terms it didn’t happen just a legend like St George or the fairies down the bottom of the garden

Indeed on its own merit of being nothing but a made up story , is proof how easy it is to rule stupid people

"Stalin once ripped all the feathers off a live chicken as a lesson to his followers.

I was going to point this out too ^

End of the day, KS is the leader of the opposition. So he should fucking OPPOSE and not just arbitrarily agree with everything the government decides to do. The man has announced (several times now) that Labour will support whatever actions the government decides to take.....before those actions have even been announced. That’s not how opposition is supposed to work.

And my biggest worry is the vacuum left behind. Who’s going to fill it? Expect upset at local elections come May.

I was fortunate to live through the 80s. I made my fortune then as did many others. Has it changed anything for the country as a whole no? Has it cushioned me? Totally.. I remember mortgage rates at 13%. It did not affect me as the following mini recessions never affected me and Brexit will not affect me. Houses cost peanuts in comparison to today. Most of my colleagues and friends invested in domestic property portfolios for rental income. It was so easy. Did I work hard. Hell yes. I worked 12 hours a day and many many weekends. Was it worth it? I enjoyed the rollercoaster. Can people do what I did ? Hell yes but it's much harder.

Do I work hard now. No. I just clown around on here...

I have seen politicians come and go. Everyone gets too carried away with Starmer in PMQs. He is trained as a barrister/solicitor.. I would be amazed if couldn't perform but opposing and leading are two different things. The left will run with him until he is no longer useful.

Not when it’s made up it’s not a good analogy . In fact one could argue that by using a known made up analogy to draw a comparison on the incompetence of the EU . Then there is no incompetence within the EU and is all made up as the said analogy is also fictitious . One must use a “ true analogy if one wants portray something as Factual ..

In layman’s terms “ Have another go Einstein “
