Everyone knows better and could do a better job. Maybe that's why you're in the job you're in and not running the show.
I'm glad I'm not and doubt any one here could do it better.
No deal all the way now and let the EU weep. |

"Time we got rid of Boris any ideas??
Why?"
Probably because he assured that Brexit would be the easiest deal in history, and that it was all oven-ready.
Now, all of a sudden, it turns out that it wasn't that easy and no deal is the likely outcome. That, or complete surrender to the EU. Whichever Boris' puppetmasters / paymasters decide is the best scenario.
Whilst undoubtedly entertaining - because let's face it, he'd be a good laugh to go for a pint with, even if you had to count your fingers after you shook hands with him - he's also a massively useless cunt.
So that's why |

The EU loose to much by letting us leave so they were always going to make it as hard as hell to get a deal and were going to give us nothing in return.
I voted to remain but stand by the majority vote. I cant see a deal being reached and dont know why borris and his cronies dont just man up and tell them now goodbye instead of wasting more of our time and money on somting so futile |

Not a fan of brexit at all but really who in their right minds thought this would be easy? We have over successive governments allowed the original common market to evolve into a virtual united states of Europe. Then we have decided to divorce all 27 separate parties and expect them to be nice?
There was never going yo be a easy time and just like any divorce costs are high.
The majority voted for it get on with it. |

No idea where you get your quote from that Boris said that. Sounds made up by a cunt who doesn't like him more than any once if truth. But I'll stand corrected if you can back up your quote with a direct reference.
No one ever said it would be easy. Everyone saw what Brussels did to Greece when it tried to leave.
No deal may be the best way if Brussels continue to prevent the UK leaving. As others have said they have too much to loose without even loosing face to their members with promises they have given them over Brexit. |

Not sure when all the damage done economically with shutting down so many business and pumping so much borrowed money into the economy is going to show ? But show it will, 2.8 Trillion in debt forecast by 2024 , a gap of 45 billion needs to be raised every year to plug the gap of tax receipts to spending , we are going to pay our mortgage off get no further debt ourselves and hold on for the Rollercoaster ride to come |

Could I do a better job than Boris?
Depends how you define it. His main job is lining his, and his friends pockets. He's adept at it, I couldn't do it. |

"Who reckons this country is going or has gone to the dogs? Our government couldnt fight their way out a paper bag"
The government's response to the pandemic in many areas has been very very poor and many lives could have easily been saved but they didn't through ineptitude.
The Country hasn't gone to the dogs regarding Brexit but it is taking significant steps backwards by stripping citizens rights and the self imposing economic sanctions but that's what the majority wanted.
We got basically what we voted for I guess. |

What many are overlooking is that every country has been borrowing past any previously agreed/restricted limits. One way to look at it is we're all in the same boat and could been seen that it won't be as bad as many fear. Interest rates are nearly zero, so borrowing isn't going to cost much. Also there will be many who will print their own money because rates are so low and won't have the same adverse effect as it would if rates were higher and other economies were all doing well. Yes there will be issues but maybe not as one would normally expect in normal conditions. |

I'll answer these, even though it wasn't me you were asking.
"Very poor compared too?"
Every country in the world did better on us in deaths by covid per million people, except Belgium, Peru, Italy, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Spain and Moldova. We're the 9th worst on the planet.
"What rights have been stripped back?"
So far only the right to freely live and travel in the EU. But they're working hard on removing human rights and workers rights.
Here is some information on what the EU does and doesn't provide for us.

The ERG are campaigning hard to get rid of as much of this as possible.
"How differently would you have handled it?"
Followed scientific advice, following WHO advice, and prioritised the needs of the country, over the needs of Tory party donors, and giving out billions of £'s worth of contracts to their mates. |

Coming to a free trade agreement with the EU should be “one of the easiest in human history” - said by Liam Fox
“We can get that deal through in days. It is oven-ready” - written by Boris Johnson in the Conservative manifesto.
Sounds like a case of too many cooks following a recipe for disaster. |

No one ever said it would be easy.
"
Nigel Farage did 20th September 2016
Michael Gove 6th April 2016 said we hold all the cards and we can choose the path we want, making it sound easy.
David Davis 14th July 2016 wrote "Be under no doubt: we can do deals with our trading partners, and we can do them quickly. I would expect the new prime minister on 9 September to immediately trigger a large round of global trade deals with all our most favoured trade partners. I would expect that the negotiation phase of most of them to be concluded within between 12 and 24 months."
He was equally over-confident when he tweeted on 10 October 2016:
There will be no downside to Brexit, only a considerable upside.
Liam Fox 20th July 2017 said
" the free trade agreement that we will have to come to with the European Union should be one of the easiest in human history.”
There are more but I think I've made the point
" Everyone saw what Brussels did to Greece when it tried to leave. "
Greece had all the decision making capabilities themselves and chose to run their country how they chose to do so.
"
No deal may be the best way if Brussels continue to prevent the UK leaving. "
The EU cannot and never have had any capability to prevent any state from leaving.
Other than that your post is 100% accurate |

The Country hasn't gone to the dogs regarding Brexit but it is taking significant steps backwards by stripping citizens rights and the self imposing economic sanctions but that's what the majority wanted.
We got basically what we voted for I guess.
Please explain.
Very poor compared too?
What rights have been stripped back?
How differently would you have handled it?
I'll answer these, even though it wasn't me you were asking.
Very poor compared too?
Every country in the world did better on us in deaths by covid per million people, except Belgium, Peru, Italy, Bosnia, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Spain and Moldova. We're the 9th worst on the planet.
What rights have been stripped back?
So far only the right to freely live and travel in the EU. But they're working hard on removing human rights and workers rights.
Here is some information on what the EU does and doesn't provide for us.
https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/our-human-rights-work/what-does-brexit-mean-equality-and-human-rights-uk
The ERG are campaigning hard to get rid of as much of this as possible.
How differently would you have handled it?
Followed scientific advice, following WHO advice, and prioritised the needs of the country, over the needs of Tory party donors, and giving out billions of £'s worth of contracts to their mates.
I understand you are upset about free movement not available now we have left the EU but my view it is a good thing."
I'm not upset about anything to do with Brexit at all.
The majority voted for it but I won't simply say OK yeah go on then when people still dish out statements that are complete and utter rubbish and lies about the so called reasons and benefits of leaving |

"Time we got rid of Boris any ideas??
Why?
Probably because he assured that Brexit would be the easiest deal in history, and that it was all oven-ready.
Now, all of a sudden, it turns out that it wasn't that easy and no deal is the likely outcome. That, or complete surrender to the EU. Whichever Boris' puppetmasters / paymasters decide is the best scenario.
Whilst undoubtedly entertaining - because let's face it, he'd be a good laugh to go for a pint with, even if you had to count your fingers after you shook hands with him - he's also a massively useless cunt.
So that's why
No idea where you get your quote from that Boris said that. Sounds made up by a cunt who doesn't like him more than any once if truth. But I'll stand corrected if you can back up your quote with a direct reference.
No one ever said it would be easy. Everyone saw what Brussels did to Greece when it tried to leave.
No deal may be the best way if Brussels continue to prevent the UK leaving. As others have said they have too much to loose without even loosing face to their members with promises they have given them over Brexit.
Why deal with in facts when you can just rewrite history. "
Ha, that's Brexit in a nutshell, when it all starts to unravel, just lie and rewrite history |

Who is working hard to reduce human and workers rights ?
You are still free to travel europe once covid is over no one is stopping you and im sure if you have a skill , qualifications or enough money to support yourself im sure they will let you live there too.
They did some good things. For sure. But the main focus was on how they would get richer.
Yeah, so as I said, we lost the freedom to travel and work in EU countries.
I'm curious here. Which country were you planning to move to? "
The question was what rights have people lost, not a justification of why or who would of used them |

its been going to the dogs for yearsthis is just the end point for the last 15 or 20 years amazes me that people are blaming just the tories tgis started under blair and brown and continued under the various tory primeinisters since.both parties put the city and big buisness ahead of the people.my own opinion is we would bd better off getting rid of all of them |

The thing that makes many of the response stupid is their trying to be used out of context to bolster person opinions. The reasons for the deaths are rarely included and it doesn't matter about population, demographics, age, ethnicity, cultural behaviour and of course the fuckwitts who think rules are there to be navigated or doesn't apply to them attitude which is one of the primary reasons for the current situation we're in and dare I say it the death toll due to their selfish attitudes.
You think the UK won't look after human rights?
I'm amazed at a couple racist remarks too bearing in mind the said people feel their right to travel through Europe has now been removed, which it hasn't. The very nature of control by which you will have to travel to Europe will also be applied.
Oh and on the not of some speculative comment about waiting to see our country flooded by Indians, if Brexit is going to be so bad for business as most in here seem to think, why why would they want to flood us. I. Just assume it's a racist mindset that would use such about tosh. |

£5billion was given to firms who were given to companies with VIP access.
£6billion went to companies with no history in making ppe
It's impossible to know the exact amount as less than half the reports have been made public.

No one's said worst economy in the world.
I'd agree with you on the second point for sure yes, it's called working with the facts and forming opinions based on information that is easy to verify that is true and applying common sense , not making up rubbish and trying to pass it off as facts |

Im sure a lot of money has been wasted but if you can remember that far back people like yourself was saying its a scandle there is not enough ppe for hospitals and care homes and rightly too.Anyone with an ounce of decency would have paid anything to protect those workers and seems they did.
Tell me what you would have done differently when the whole world was after the same commodity, put it out to tender, let nurses die or get what you could for the price they were asking and worry about the money after.
just interested in what you would have done differently. |

It hasn't been wasted
It has been siphoned off.
£11billion at least.
And it's not the guardian or the indy running the story it's the ny times.

"Im sure a lot of money has been wasted but if you can remember that far back people like yourself was saying its a scandle there is not enough ppe for hospitals and care homes and rightly too.Anyone with an ounce of decency would have paid anything to protect those workers and seems they did.
If you cant see a problem with that, you are a lost cause. " If its been syphoned off thats against the law and who is responsible should be prosecuted. |

How about awarding the contracts to provide PPE to the companies who won the bids rather than giving it to their mates to make substandard PPE that doesn't even get used.
Or is that too outlandish, and they may was well just direct out taxes straight into their friends and neighbors band accounts. |

"Who reckons this country is going or has gone to the dogs? Our government couldnt fight their way out a paper bag
Followed scientific advice, following WHO advice, and prioritised the needs of the country, over the needs of Tory party donors, and giving out billions of £'s worth of contracts to their mates.so 7 European country’s worse than the U.K.
This reply has pretty much all the funny/ridiculous stuff I come here for."
And that sums up your best arguments to date.
And with that I feel it's time to let you carry on complaining.
Those of us who voted have got what we wanted, the opportunity to carve out our own future, to take back the chance to change and become more flexible and adaptable to change, not to be told by an organisation that survives by tell others what to do and how to do it. The remoaners can continue trying to tell us what we wanted when we voted to leave as you so aptly continue to do without actually listening. Simply we'd had enough.
Was it a mistake we don't know was it the best thing to do, we don't know, but what we do do know is it's given ALL of us an opportunity to make it better and that seems to be the difference between the two votes, try and improve what is crumbling or stay and patch it up.

There is a clip in the Simpsons where the town is threatened with a huge meteor.
They fire a rocket at it but it succeeds in destroying the only bridge out of town.
The news anchor(Kent brocknan)is then at the scene where you see cars trying to make the leap, and falling to their deaths.
'Its a testament to the never give up,never think things out attitude of the people of this town '
Brexit somehow reminds me of that. |

Imagine your can-do attitude without the massive burden of brexit. How great would that be!
I do enjoy how you equate people who don't bury their heads in the sand do being complainers. Would you honestly prefer that everyone in the country was compliant and didn't ask equations of the establishment?
I assume due to your repeated personal attacks on me that you have no actual points to me. Which is fine. |

That's why all the "new order" conspiracy theories amuse me so much. Our government couldn't organise the proverbial piss-up in a brewery. Yet they somehow manage to orchestrate a world-wide fake pandemic? Probably not |
