Surely the main thing is the vaccine gets here as quick as possible to try an help stop some vulnerable people from dying this year, not whether it comes by truck or by plane due to problems at the port potentially. People are dying and people on here arguing about if the vaccine is a brexit bonus or not, crazy in my opinion, some need to give there heads a wobble I think. |

That delay has been caused by a manufacturing fault in one of the batches of the vaccine, nothing to do with the government, the manufacturer simply does not have as many doses ready as it thought it would have. |

That delay has been caused by a manufacturing fault in one of the batches of the vaccine, nothing to do with the government, the manufacturer simply does not have as many doses ready as it thought it would have."

The EU has different rules to the UK for validating medicines which has nothing to do with dealing with more information or being more cautious. Every country in the EU can opt out and validate any medicine on the basis of proof, if they so wish. Several within the EU already have validated the SARS-19 vaccine.
To be clear, UK within the EU could have validated the vaccine at the same time frame as UK out of the EU. The Speaker of the House lied.

The vaccine is being moved via unmarked lorries via Eurotunnel, and will also be flown in. (Pfizer to Antwerp Airport is around 20 miles)
Both routes have been pre-planned for some time now. |

How do you know which way I'm thinking? Yes it was partly a dig at the EU because they take a bleedin age to get anything done but it was also a serious question because I want to get to Spain as soon and as often as I can in the new year and the vaccine needs to be rolled out across the whole of Europe ASAP so that we can get back to some sort of normality. It should not take the EU at least a month longer than the UK to get this vaccine approved should it? |

If I was you I'd be more worried about how the vaccine is going to be rolled out here given the farcical handling of the pandemic so far by the government. You could be looking very silly in a few months time. |

The EU have brought forward their meeting to approve a vaccine. The meeting will now take place on 21st. December, and not the 29th.
The BBC reports a growing impatience within Europe, especially that the USA, Canada and the UK are now days and weeks ahead of them. |

Well I'm very happy with the way our country is rolling out the vaccine as my dad is getting his first inoculation on Thursday and has the date and time of the second one as well. |
