Anybody who has spoken to some EU citizens for example will have heard that racist comments or incidents has been on the rise since the kwitters have won their WW3. But as always, anything that doesn’t suit you or proves you wrong is bollocks. Poor sod. |

The truth of the matter is one of the reports is about the EHRC investigation of the Labour Party.
A political party that has been in Government of the UK and probably will be again at some point.
That is why it has rightly so been in the headlines so much. |

Yes you seem very chilled. Asking somebody you don’t agree with if he’s d*unk, is a sign of being chilled.
I’m always chilled. It’s lovely to have brexiters going to work their socks off everyday when I do fuck all apart from reading the Guardian. |

No problem here. You clearly need your life to improve and to change. Otherwise you’d have voted for the statu quo and remain. Only unhappy and aggrieved people voted for Brexit. I don’t need the U.K. to be out of the EU to get any satisfaction in my life. No need to post on Brexit as soon as I’m back from work at 5 o’clock like you or 24 hours a day like you do. |

...and there you have it.
This government and their supporters don't care. There's been countless reviews on racial equality and discrimination:
McGregor-Smith review, 2017
Lammy review, 2017
Angiolini review, 2017
Timpson review, 2019
Windrush review, 2020
They've done the bare minimum on each one and even with the findings, they are considered "bollox" by many despite change being needed.
Nice choice of words by the way. |

I'd love to go into great detail but I feel I'd be wasting my breath.
One example would be the most recent, the Windrush review which was a consequence of the "hostile environment." Compensation payouts have been minimal and deportation flights still happened after the fact.
There's a lot of room for improvement but it's unlikely to come from this government and not much drive from their supporters to do so. |

I agree things could improve but I would suggest that to say things are getting worse is more the opinion of Nasar Meer, which shouldn't be a surprise in the Guardian. And yes I read the report |

Timpson review, 2019
Windrush review, 2020
They've done the bare minimum on each one and even with the findings, they are considered "bollox" by many despite change being needed.
Nice choice of words by the way.
Thanks
So what has got worse?
I'd love to go into great detail but I feel I'd be wasting my breath.
One example would be the most recent, the Windrush review which was a consequence of the "hostile environment." Compensation payouts have been minimal and deportation flights still happened after the fact.
There's a lot of room for improvement but it's unlikely to come from this government and not much drive from their supporters to do so.
I agree things could improve but I would suggest that to say things are getting worse is more the opinion of Nasar Meer, which shouldn't be a surprise in the Guardian. And yes I read the report "
So my question to you is why so dismissive? |

How odd
Maybe because one story is true and the other one is bollox
Anybody who has spoken to some EU citizens for example will have heard that racist comments or incidents has been on the rise since the kwitters have won their WW3. But as always, anything that doesn’t suit you or proves you wrong is bollocks. Poor sod.
I've spoken to plenty. Damn, some are even my family. And I don't hear that at all. But apart from that, do you even know what institutional racism is?
Yes. I see it in the country across the pond that post Brexit kwitters are in love with.
Good morning. Are you still d*unk?
I don’t drink. Are you blind?
Well that could be part of your problem then. I find it helps me to chill a little
Yes you seem very chilled. Asking somebody you don’t agree with if he’s d*unk, is a sign of being chilled.
I’m always chilled. It’s lovely to have brexiters going to work their socks off everyday when I do fuck all apart from reading the Guardian.
Ahh I see. That could be another part of your problem
" Hi. I do not think that anyone would describe Tim Martin or Lord Bamford as either unhappy or aggrieved .
Tim Martin has made a great success of a business where many have unstuck and JCB have transformed both the construction and farming industries . |

This government and their supporters don't care. There's been countless reviews on racial equality and discrimination:

Sir Kier Starmer is under pressure to tackle Islamophobia in the Labour Party after a report found that more than a quarter of its members and supporters had been victims of it.
The Labour Muslims network said that 29 % of members and supporters had experienced Islamophobia in the party , including being called terrorists .
The study was led by Afzal Khan the MP for Manchester Gorton. |

If that's true then yes it need looking into, same as the so-called inquiry in the Tory party which has been shelved it seems..?
Pat, given it was reported there were in excess of 300 complaints of Islamophobia in the Tory party would you agree such an issue deserves swift and decisive actions? |

Didn't Baroness Warsi do the same in the conservative party?
This political point scoring does very little to help.
Your last two comments are a reflection of how empty the feelings towards this issue are. Instead of the two major parties tackling the issue, they use it fighting ground were very little actually gets done and the some of the public act like there's no racism in the UK. |

No, but that report in the Guardian was politically biased. The truth of the matter is one of the reports is about the EHRC investigation of the Labour Party.
A political party that has been in Government of the UK and probably will be again at some point.
That is why it has rightly so been in the headlines so much."

Maybe you should actually read my post.
When the report was published into the anti semitism in the labour party, there were about 3 threads on here discussing racism.
That report was published in Thursday and shows society has become much more widespread in this country.
And yet not 1 poster has referenced it
Why?
Surely it cant be anything to do with using racism to score political points? |

"
The bias probably stems from the fact (whether you like it or not) that we've had a Tory government for the best part of a decade, countless reviews and very little has changed. Of course, that doesn't get Labour off the hook but given they're not in a position of power to implement the measures suggested by the report means the responsibility falls on the current incumbents.
Plus, the immigration act of 2014 was a tory move which lead to the Windrush scandal I mentioned earlier. So who are the Conservatives seeking to represent under policies like that?
It's unlikely that I'll vote for Labour until they sort their house (I live in a "safe" seat so doesn't matter) but I'm definitely not voting Conservative and they are very far from the champions of race relations. |
