"By a new president seemingly not as keen to be buddies with Boris ?"
Biden has more respect for and understanding of the Good Friday Agreement. So he won't try to encourage the UK to break it.
Otherwise, no change.
Obviously Biden is a more capable human, and less of an ignorant racist prick. But he still works for, and represents to corporate interests of those who sponsor both main parties in the US. So in most respects, the trade negotiations will continue as they are now.
We're still looking at US big pharma buying into the NHS, and we're still looking at a drastic reduction in food safety standards. These were two of the core purposes of Brexit. So changing the US president will not change that. |

He will encourage a closer cooperation with Europe, and as we already know the Democrats will not allow a trade deal that breaks the GFA. |

Even if trump had been reelected, the trade deal would never have got though Congress. |

I think that any of the big players will look to do an EU deal that the U.K. can tag onto if they wish. There really isn’t much point in negotiating directly with the U.K. unless the country is willing to drop its pants and bend over.
The Trump/Johnson/Brexit axis was based on a moment in time, whereas a trade deal transcends personalities and will be negotiated on long term certainties. |

Apparently this whopping deal liz truss has engineered with Japan means all the tariff wins are for goods we dont export.
Just 10 nearly 9 and a thousand items will be taxed lower.
Fair sure we had a thread crowing about this a few weeks ago with the comment that it will 'ruin the remainers Christmas' |
