Without the senate and a 6-3 majority will have a hard time of it. Expect the republicans to become very concerned about the deficit. Biden is inheriting a house thats on fire. I think its time for Schumer to move on, thats his 4 consecutive failure to take the senate back.

New York might well go after Trump but it will set a very dangerous precedent if the federal govt does.

No I've been watching Bidens speach which I thought was very moving and conciliatory. It's nice to see a statesman who shows that he cares about the American people by putting their health before his campaign aspirations. It made me sick to see Trump kiss the American flag and then endanger so many lives in his rallies.

Let's hope this is the start of a brighter future for Americans and a turning point for environmental activism.

Thank you hubby and i military vets. That being said we made a oath we stand by the president. If he decides it is fine let the process of that decision be for the people.Personally we will question policy. If the people speak we will support. Trump hijacked the republican party. They didn't take him seriously in 2016. They didn't think he would win the nomination, they thought the pussy grabbing episode would be his undoing, they really thought Hillary was going to beat him.

I don't think he will run again but there may well be another from the white supremacist wing of the GOP. Or we will see th e return of 'sensible' republicans like Paul Ryan or Nikki Halley.

It's where politics has gone wrong in recent years. You have to at least be able to listen to the other side.

However, there are some things that are unacceptable positions. Too many of these are leaking into "normal" politics.

They are then used to tar the entire opposition, which helps no one.

Infrastructure is one of the issues that every says they want to do but nothing ever gets done regardless of party because no one ever wants to spend the actual money... case in point an interstate bridge collapsed a few years ago thru disrepair

This is the democratic process doing it's thing.

Holding an election during covid changes things. Because Biden is a responsible person he encouraged people to vote by mail. Because Trump doesn’t care how many people spread the virus, he said turn up in person.

It is hardly any wonder then that states initially led by Trump with on the day polls are being overtaken by Biden as postal votes come in.

Whilst Trump claims this is clear fraud, it's actually just people following the advice given by both candidates.

In October, in North Carolina, Trump advised his voters to "test" systems by trying to vote twice. Is it not ironic that after suggesting to voters that they find ways to cheat, that's what he's crying about now?

But Trump suggested fraud in North Carolina. I said earlier that was October but that was just the date of the article.

He suggested to his voters to "test" the systems. Well now he is crying foul of the very thing he has been advocating.

The vote difference is down to tripple figures in Georgia and mere thousands in Pennsylvania with 97% votes counted. In some places Biden getting over 70% of the vote.

If Biden wins either of those, the delayed counting in Nevada will mean nothing.

If Biden wins Georgia, Pennsylvania and Nevada then it's no longer a close thing.
