How sad you are try reading!
Bitching about a guy who says one thing that should be dun but can't get a council leader in the same party to do the right thing over peoples lives.
Starmer is just useless he really is no balls to do the right thing but hey if he can try and point score what do peoples lives matter.

Look up Chris Green the conservative Bolton MP.
No party leader is getting full support for the Covid measures. |

I find him uninspiring as an opposition leader.
Not sure how much influence he would have over a local council though. |

Neither can Boris and he is supposed to be the PM, you do realise that Starmer wants a ‘circuit break’ lockdown, not tier 3 |

But Starmer doesn’t think the tier system works so why would he persuade Burnham to agree to Boris’s demands? |

I've no doubt those pair are in cahoots over this anyway. They see it as an opportunity to stick the knife in.
As I've said before on numerous occasions be very careful about allying yourself with a virus. It is just a virus and doing what virus's do to transmit. Divide, rule and multiply.
It will eventually come back and haunt them what they have said and done. |

I'm a little baffled by this OP.
You do realise that he has no control over what any local council does?
He is the opposition leader and oposes the governments 3 tier system. |

He is opposing it on two counts.
1. Lack of an exit strategy for Covid-
Ie sort out test and trace- it’s appalling
2. Lack of enough financial support for businesses and those self isolating
Even most economists are saying that the government will have to borrow at unprecedented levels to keep many sectors of the economy afloat - it’s not doing that yet but Boris will have to ask Sunak for more money. The good news is every other country has will do and is doing the same. The ECB is allowing 6 % deficit of GDP in the EU which is twice the normal rate- it’s a humongous amount of money but it’s needed. |

Oh well let the NHS get over run then. This is not a silly game for kids to play as those 2 appear to think. Its a serious one the North west infection rate is going through the roof buy hey if Burnham doesn't get what he wants he will just throw his toys out of the pram and Stamer is too much of a wimp to point it out.

The lockdown before was to slow the transmition just like the local ones now why would you want to ruin businesses' in the isle of weight where there is hardly any transmition explain to me the justification of that?
You either follow the scientific advice or you don’t? Starmer has decided to follow SAGE, Boris’s hasn’t which is his choice, but you can’t expect Starmer to tell Andy Burnham to go into tier 3 when he doesn’t agree with it either? Can you? " Of course he has he doesnt have to balance the books its very easy spending money when you are not accountable for it,not that it ever bothered a labour government they just leave notes for the incoming chancellor "its all gone". |

"He harps on about following scientific advice but he is all wind and no substance he can't even get a Labour council run by Burnham to increase restrictions the guy is just useless like a rabbit in a car headlights.
I find him uninspiring as an opposition leader.
Not sure how much influence he would have over a local council though.
I would think a hell of a lot if he came out in the media and said do the right thing Andy.
This pandemic is not about point scoring its people lives and its not overwhelming the NHS someone who cared about lives would know that.
Would that be Boris's right thing or sages right thing?
Starmer and Burnham both agree with sage's idea, funny enough it will save more lives than a fudge of a tier 3 we have now where some pubs have closed..
Those 2 sulk more than a guy who gets a no thanks reply on here!
You might want to refresh what sage wanted, how Starmer and Burnham can be in the wrong for wanting the same rather than this tier rubbish if lives are paramount is nonsense..
Ahh well then toys put the pram sulk do nothing and letting people die is fine! REALLY??
They are spoilt little sulky boys the pair of them or are you condoning the potential deaths? Well are you? "
Stop being childish ffs, take a moment and look at the reasons sage wanted a full circuit break and recommended it..
Then Boris sat on that for three weeks, comes up with the tier system which is less effective in reducing infections than the sage option..
Do not talk to me about condoning any deaths when I've had a sister in intensive care with covid..
Idiot.. |

Pardon? You seem familiar? Do you have a couple of profiles on here? Anyway, I am confused, do we follow SAGEs advice or not? If Starner is the ‘loony left’ surely that means Boris is the ‘raging racist right ‘??
You seem surprised people follow other counties politics yet you all follow Donny and Joe over here. Corbin and his loony left were in the papers here you know and we have access to the internet.

"He harps on about following scientific advice but he is all wind and no substance he can't even get a Labour council run by Burnham to increase restrictions the guy is just useless like a rabbit in a car headlights.
I find him uninspiring as an opposition leader.
Not sure how much influence he would have over a local council though.none by the look of it.
But Starmer doesn’t think the tier system works so why would he persuade Burnham to agree to Boris’s demands? If you cant see the answer to your own question you must have blinkers on.
So what are you expecting Starmer to do? Last time I checked he wasn’t the PM or the mayor of Manchester To be honest i dont expect anything from him , as the leader of the labour party he cant even keep his mp,s to agree with him let alone labour councils six of his front bench quit the other day that says it all about the leader.
That is a separate issue and doesn’t look good for Starmer but he and Sage dont agree with the tier system so why would he tell ‘his MPs’ to follow this advice? You keep going on about sage but you still have to balance the economy ,mental health etc. Even i can see if you shut the whole country down for 6 months no one in or out we will eradicate it in the uk unfortunately that will put millions out of work we would end up a 3rd world country and likely to import it again as soon as we open up.
Can you? Of course he has he doesnt have to balance the books its very easy spending money when you are not accountable for it,not that it ever bothered a labour government they just leave notes for the incoming chancellor "its all gone"."

I would think a hell of a lot if he came out in the media and said do the right thing Andy.
This pandemic is not about point scoring its people lives and its not overwhelming the NHS someone who cared about lives would know that. "
Correct the scientists are saying national full lockdown as tier 3 won’t work.
Starmer agreed Boris didn’t !
Manchester is saying tell us why we are putting people out of work as support is not enough especially if the science doesn’t agree. Boris hasn’t answered that.

Tier 3??, which is safer for the public, tier 3 or a ‘circuit breaker ‘ national lockdown?

Having visited Chicago a number of times the gap between the have and the have nots is stark.
My family are by the university near to Obama’s house so safe and well but cross those railway tracks and my god that’s a third world country !
I don’t know of any part of the U.K. where such a scary place exists. Don’t break down there whatever you do.
Listening to the gunfire at the weekend is just shocking. So no we’re not a bad as you and I really hope we don’t become the country where, if you don’t have money your education is shit and your health care is intermittent at best.
America is a country of two halves and the chasm between is too broken to be fixed ever.
Sorry but your domination and empire like ours of times past is coming to an end due to your own selfish uncaring incompetent leaders.
Big money is now sadly infecting our political system and we have to fight hard to stop that rot.
PS Chicago is a fabulous city otherwise. And those hot dogs !! Damn Fine taste . Suspect full of chemicals but still they taste divine.

I wouldn't deny there are bad areas over here we have asshole politicians too.
Saying that I wouldn't want the Chinese, the Russian or Saudi style of government as its even worse. "
True but what the hell I we all doing letting the politicians we have get away with the shit they keep feeding us ?
Do we need a third realism party for today’s technological world for people to support.
They can do business but look after the people. It’s not rocket science . |

He’s so useless that he’s managed to make up 26 points in the polls with your rock star in less than 8 months. If Starmer is a joke, what does that say about Blondie... |

Can you? Of course he has he doesnt have to balance the books its very easy spending money when you are not accountable for it,not that it ever bothered a labour government they just leave notes for the incoming chancellor "its all gone"."
Heard the shadow chancellor on the radio the other day saying its not the tier system they are against but the proposed compensation for companies and workers. When asked how much it would cost to give them 100 percent she refused to answer |

Mpre myths that's been debunked endlessly.
Not a myth at all but you believe what you want it came straight from the horses mouth he admitted he should never have wrote it and ment it as a joke. Some sense of humour that liam byrne.
Well at least we are in the safe hands of boris and co and can all look forward to a period of unparalleled economic growth.
Yay so not a myth thats been debunked endlessly then.
Let it go, " Yes i will its not right to kick a bloke when he,s down.So when you going to give me an answer to the question ive ask you twice now? |

Sounds like you’re talking about Boris more than SKS.
