Imagine weaseling your way into the war room then systematically double crossing and stabbing in the back all the leadership of the army, because you fancy the kudos of being the top general. Then when battles start, finding that you actually know jack shit about about tactics and that you've surrounded yourself with fucking idiots. But keeping up the lying and corruption because it's the only thing you really know how to do. And really, really, not giving a damn about what happens to your country and the ordinary people that live there, because you think that you're better than them, and in any case you'll make more money if your country is destroyed than if you tried to save it. |
