Today's Times headline..
'Ministers bankrolled by donors linked to Russia'
Bill Browder gave names, to the committee, of MPs and Lords from both parties who are involved.
So, still no enquiry?? |

"Exactly. He can have his say, give his opinion but I'm not sure it would make any inquiry anymore impartial. "
He won't be doing the enquiry, will he!!!
But the information about MPs taking Russian money should be looked into, no?? |

I agree their should be an Independent inquiry. The sad thing is that their should be so many covering Covid, NHS underspend, Care System Mismanagement, Defence, islamophobia, Russian influence, Press influence, Planning system abuse..., and others. The Tory’s have been having a field day for 10 years and think no one holds them to account |

No, not against it but not over much for it either.
Not sure what it would achieve. Just as long as we now move forward with a greater knowledge of what Russia is upto. |

It won't achieve nothing because we know it will be kicked into the long grass.
Which doesn't give much optimism for the forthcoming covid enquiry.
We have a pm who routinely lies to the country.
That's what we voted for and that's what we got |

Do you want to clarify if the evidence and names he provided were those of MPs or Members of the House of Lords? |

I am guessing they are lords because don't all mps have to declare any earnings or donations over a certain amount? Think its a really small amount too so reckon it would be difficult. |

From what I have read in interviews, it's both and from both parties. |

I believe it was members in both houses according to documents leaked to the times. The details will no doubt be redacted for very serious security reasons.
Btw Boris and a David Davis whilst both in Parliament have been paid by JCB a company owned by lord Bamford a leading Brexiteer, £20k and £60k per year for what???
Certainly not for advice on how to sell excavators..
They both did at least 10 hours consultancy per year for their money.
Boris had to quit when he became Prime minister.
Voters were terrified of the Nationalisation talk from Labour and as the older generation has seen the shit show of the mess nationalised industries make they ran to the Tories as they didn’t see an alternative.
We now have the worst most corrupt incompetent bunch I’ve ever seen.
Did you notice the National data information department being swept over to the cabinet‘’s control quietly last week?
That is dictatorship territory.

I heard him on Radio4, have read the report and where there is concern is with the members of the House of Lords as there is a loop hole (which has since been raised and is being dealt with) - which appears to have been used by members from all parties .

He gave specific names to the committee with evidence. Around 13 or so, if I remember correctly. He did not say the names on air, of course he wouldn't!! He was interviewed on LBC by James O'Brien. |

The Conservative Party maintain that all donations to them, are all in the rules.
I'm sure that the Parliamentary Standards Committee will look into any alleged breach, if any member's name is supplied. |
