Please tell me I'm wrong
In tbe middle of a pandemic, months before crashing out of Europe, economy in tatters, still no proper plan for schooling amongst other things and parliament is going on their fkn holidays |

Worst crisis in 300 years and the fuckers all having a jolly holiday. We should nail the doors of Westminster shut and tell them not to bother coming back. If the country can cope without parliament for a couple of months when literally everything is going to shit, then the country can cope without them full stop. Sack all the bastards, all of the parties, start again using a couple of dice or tossing coins to make decisions. It couldn't do a worse job than the current system, and it's got every possibility of working better... |

It's a recess of Parliament, in most cases the MPs continue working in their local constituency.
And as was noted above, Parliament is pretty irrelevant at present. A huge majority means this Government can pretty much do as it wishes. Especially as it seem to be ignoring requests to release information and reports about it's actions.

They have a batphone. Someone will man it.
They say everyone goes on holiday but that’s like my old boss saying he was going on hols and he’d take his blackberry, his laptop, give me his hotel details, ring me every day, email me, fax me......
