Message limit in a certain amount of time?

So not 100% sure how this could be implemented but...
I've sat with women and watched there messages going up 2/3/4 a minute, sometimes by the same guy over and over again, so where as I'm a guy who only mails once and waits for a reply, with tossers like that on here my message goes further and further down never to be read, where as say a guy is limited to one message a hour to the same person (unless that person replys then it's unlimited), they can't get bombarded with loads of messages from the same few guys and us on time messagers get a better chance of the recipient getting down the list of messages???

No it's not about one woman I'm messaging lol, I mean in general,
If a woman has got 100 messages but say 50/60 of them are off the same guys then with a limit them 50/60 wouldn't be there meaning everyone would hopefully get more of a chance of the recipient reading your ONE message |

If she's interested she will get back to you even if lots of other people have messaged 10 times or 50 times or 100 times. If you don't get a reply it just means someone is not interested, it doesn't necessarily mean that someone who's messaged her 100 times is getting all their messages read. |

I get that, I do. If they've read and no reply fair enough, but when they haven't even read? Or had chance to read, and even say when you manage speak to them, 'oh your message/reply was lost down the list'
Like I say I've seen it first hand and you women know yourself....

I'm 7 messages down when I could be 3 with a limit?
Would also make for longer messages as guys would know that they have a time limit to send another if the 1st doesn't get replied to |

Often somebody's may click on the profile before deciding whether to read those messages or not. If the profile doesn't suit work they are looking for at that time , they may never open the messages as they may not feel it is relevant to them . |

If they are a subscriber and on the new mailbox and all the messages from one person get linked together under one yellow block.
So for example person one has messaged 50 times, person 2- three times, person four messaged fifteen times, person 5 messaged once all will be in the inbox is 5 subject headings for her to click on regardless of how many messages each person has sent. |

Like I say, not all women use the new mailbox and I know for fact you women get bombarded with message after message from the same bloke(s) who your trying not to block.
This isn't me moaning, I honestly think us who message the once will have more of a chance of our ONE message being read than slipping all the way down to page 2 of your messages never to be seen again |

lol you have graded yourself highly, are you better than me for example, what makes you better than the next guy? you can't possibly say because you dont have access to every womans message inbox, youre just frustrated because you are not getting a reply its life here even if you know someone and they relly to you the same thing will still happen, its just volume of polite messages  |

Maybe a problem for the scenario given OP, but what about eg when a guy is heading for a meet and the couple has asked for eg regular journey / arrival time updates. They’ve maybe started the fun so don’t want to type replies, just want updates when the guy will walk in........?
Other situations too but that’s one positive example.
Rem_mber folks the site isn’t all about loads of guys prospecting for couples (though all too often it is !) |

I think that’s a fab idea , this happens so many times to me and you wouldn’t believe the absolutely vile things I’ve been called because I’ve not replied ....
I had one man send 10..one after another for weeks each day including his number ... address alsorts I blocked him super fast then up pops a new account that’s him |

1. I'm not grading myself highly at all
2. I don't have access to everyone's inbox, but like I said, I've sat with women on meets and in clubs and they have shown me there inbox and when online the number of messages grows by the second. If they are always reading the top message and trying get through them they will only ever keep reading the top message as they come through. And like I say people like you and me who send the one message have no chance because of the ones who send 10/20 messages! And I've seen them myself
hi how are you
Are you replying
What you doing
Aren't you speaking
Are you still there
And so on....
The 10/20 pestery messages times a few blokes is over 60 messages, and yours and my one message are 60 messages down the ladies list. Limit to 2 messages every 24 hours solves this unless she replies |

But what if she's involved with someone and trying to conduct a conversation with them? One message per hour......really? I don't think it stands a chance. |

As I said in first post, if she replies to you it lifts any limit and you can speak to her with no limits |

Your message will still fall further down the list with the current system as more people message her even if there were a limit.
A better solution might be to have the older messages at the beginning with the newer ones entering the queue last. Just like waiting in line at the shops or on a phone line. That way multiple messages from an individual would serve no advantage since they are not "queue jumping".  |

As far as I'm aware, if you send a 2nd message when the 1st hasnt been opened or replied to, you are given a warning screen to alert you to this and to warning you to be careful not to harass people. |

There should definitely be some feature that prioritises quality over quantity. Any system that support whoever shouts the most needs adjustment.
Ive said before i think a scoring system, like on hotukdeals where users can add heat to users scores could work. Some things automatically reduce a score, like being reported as a time waster, sending abuse, or a ratio of sent vs recieved messages in each thread. |
