You've not asked for profile advice, which is often an area that people say single men could pay attention to improving. First messages being personalized, based on the profile of the people you are messaging works too.
Otherwise, looking for and attending organised socials or going to clubs, is a good way to increase the number of people that you know. You can also meet people who are friendly, without meeting for sex, like me or others, who could verify you as genuine, reliable etc.
