I’ve deleted messages several times recently by accidentally pressing the “Delete thread” button you get when viewing a message. The position is roughly where i’d swipe from (on iPhone) to go back to the previous page, so it must be when it’s missing the swipe and thinking I’m clicking on it. There’s no way to undo it. If the delete had an “are you sure” confirmation prompt, it would be fine.
On a related note, it doesn’t actually delete the thread anyway, just the latest message from your inbox. You can still see earlier message via the Sent messages |
