Can't get location to come on in fuerteventura

Hi I'm on holiday in fuerteventura. It won't pick up who's near . Any suggestions as to how I can get it to work

Phone model?

Web browser?

I take it that it works well in the UK? Otherwise, Spanish residents using Fab state that Fab doesn't have great geographic knowledge of Spain, so profile location information doesn't work too well: whether that's connected, I don't know. Have you tried a different web browser? Turned location settings off and back on again, after clearing your stored location memory?

Go into settings

Check wi fi

Check roaming

Check location services

Phone would need on n off to reboot it

Always worked for who’s near when we’ve been. But Generally most people that come up will be in Gran Canaria

Thanks for your replies. It's always worked when I've been here before. I've tried all you suggested but still not working. It's a Motorola Moto g on Android using Chrome browser.
