What is the concensous of a feature to be able to like or comment on members status updates, much like a facebook style feature?
I think it would be a good addition as long as the member can edited who can comment. |

'Likes' would be entirely meaningless I'd say (I sometimes use 'em on Facebook as I actually know the person), but I've often found myself wanting to say something on someone's status here.
Then again, there's the message feature for that, and it might detract slightly from the forums, possibly...
Possibly an opt-in thing, to allow comments on your statuses? |

"Pointless. Just like the feature to fab people's meet requests!
Would being able to comment really be that pointless?"
I think it would be open to abuse.
For instance... Someone puts a status up stating they are looking for a meet. Someone mails then but they are not not what the person is seeking so they say no, or delete without replying. Then the offended party could post anything they want on it because they are not happy or want a reason why not.
It's a bad idea |

OK, so you have a good reason, it doesn't make the idea pointless ha |

I would quite like to be able to like a status without need to update. I often see comical statuses that i like but dont feel the need to message, a simple like/fab would be good idea |
