updating location

if we are away anytime we usually change our location to where we are staying. I tried this last weekend and I kept on getting a message that the first part of the postcode had to be a letter. I eventually changed it on my computer before we left, I have tried again to change it back and I am still getting the same message, I haven't had any problems with this in the past. can you help

There was another thread here, http://www.fabswingers.com/forum/help/368529, complaining of the same problem, although the OP didn't make it clear if they were using the mobile site or not.
