I'm aware Nokia windows 8.1 doesn't work well using fab, I have a nokia Lumia 1020, but with advent of Microsoft making all devices phone, tablet, pc on one platform from 2015 this needs to be looked at asap...otherwise it will affect a lot of users who aren't using mobile devices... Thanks |

Still working fine on my S2.
For those for whom it's not working, do your other location programs show your location correctly? If so, try removing permission for Fab to access your location, then grant permission again when requested? |

Trying location today it says my device is not giving permission to fab. Tried the Android instructions but they might be a bit old now as the interfaces have evolved. I've got a HTC one mini. |

For all you Android users using the standard browser, you need to do the following:
Select 'Settings' in the browser options (the 3 vertical dots next to the address bar)
Select 'Privacy and Security'
Select 'Location Requests'
Tick 'Location Requests'
Now try 'Whos's near' on Fab. You will be site to confirm that Fab is allowed to access your location now and forever. Accept and you're done.
Any problems, you may need to delete the location cache on the Location Request page.
Hope this helps. |
