Would it be possible to introduce a nightime or dark mode like many other sites?

Energy efficient and much easier on the eyes as we inevitably scroll in the dark

I have dark mode set on chrome but the user interface to fabs is generally light

You can adjust the light, think it affects the dark mode adjustment light it gives

Often browser based dark modes/plugins make a reasonable attempt but often make the site look poor (text colour vs background colour, graphics with transparancy layer which look great on light backgrounds have dodgy edges on darker backgrounds, etc). It's far better for sites to implement their own dark mode themes so the site looks the best it can.
