"Is there any way to switch off your location or who's near setting?"
If you're on the mobile site, the option is available from just below the headers on the home page |

I am having the same trouble. The site is constantly asking to use my location when I move about the site. Trying to turn it off, can’t see how.

If you turn location off via the device return to the site it'll ask.then go back to device settings turn location on return to the site it'll ask for permission take the option that applies to your needs |

Location does not work anyway. I get messages from people 1 mile away and they are not walking distance is 5 miles there are so many issues with this site they need to fix it could do with a whole new revamp the scripting needs a rewrite ..messaging the owners is pointless they say thankyou and when they do next updates they will fix it ..so when are these updates it would make more sense to give the whole site an overhaul and fix the issues that subscribers pay for
love this site its the best but it has issues that need addressing |
