nearby not working.....??

I've got a galaxy note and who's near by isn't working even with GPS on?? But it works fine for maps and nav etc??

I have HTC one s with GPS enabled and it does not work for me I'm in fife at the mo and its giving me people on Aberdeen 100 miles away

What location does it give you?

How far away does it say the people in Aberdeen are? (It's possible that there's no-one nearer you!)

Are those people really in Aberdeen? They could be travelling.
