I've seen a few posts asking how to get the location to work. I thought it might be useful if those who have got it working could post how to switch it on for their device and browser. Please add your info below, if it hasn't been covered.
It would be best to start new threads to ask for advice on your specific device (put the device in the title!) rather than adding to this thread.
For the device/browser combos, I have:
Samsung GS2 (GT-I9100) running Android 4.0.4, using the Dolphin Browser v8.8.1.
To get to the Location Settings in Dolphin Browser v8.8.1, press the Menu Button - More - Settings - Privacy + Personal Data - Enable Location.
Samsung GS2 (GT-I9100) running Android 4.0.4, using the default browser.
If you didn't allow Fab to see your location, the 1st time you were prompted, then to get to the Location Settings press the Menu Button - Settings - Advanced - Website Settings - Tap on m.fabswingers.com - Tap Clear location access. If you do this, the next time to turn the "Who's Near" on, on the site, you get prompted "m.fabswingers.com wants to know your location" and you click on "Share location".
Google Nexus7, running Android 4.1.1, in Chrome v18.0.1025308. You can switch on in Chrome, Menu - Settings - Content Settings - Enable location.
Google Nexus7, running Android 4.1.1, in FireFox Beta v16.0. You can switch on in FireFox Beta, Menu - Clear Site Settings - Tick the Share Location box and tap "Clear". |

BLACKBERRY CURVE 9320 using default browser...
"
First check your GPS is working...
1. Home page
2. Options icon
3. Device
4. Location settings
5. “GPS Data Source”
5.1 Does the box below state “Device GPS” ?
5.2 If it does not then looks like your phone does not have GPS so wont work with the Near Me app
6. “Location Services”
6.1 Is “Location On” ?
Once above checked then lets check your Browsers settings…
1. Home Page
2. Open any web page in default Browser
3. Select options via the BB button
4. Scroll down to Privacy & Security
5. Is “Enable Geolocation” ticked?
5.1 If not then tick it so active
6. When ticked then click the “Geolocation Permissions” box below it
7. Does that have the Fab mobile URL listed and stated as ALLOW?
7.1 If not then add the Fab mobile URL

"It would be best to start new threads to ask for advice on your specific device (put the device in the title!) rather than adding to this thread." but have a look at my post here http://www.fabswingers.com/forum/mobile/125247, presuming that the models are similar?
