Further to above, phones can still locate themselves using cell tower triangulation but unsure if the mobile site uses this functionality and if it does, it will be no-where near as accurate.... and would all depend on how many cell sites you live near too.

The other apps are using cell tower triangulation then (which is fairly accurate in built up areas) but maybe the fab mobile site isnt coded to get your location via cell sites.
