Front and back camera issue in chat

I use an iPhone 8 and in chat cam opens but can only use front camera. There is an option when you open the cam in chat to use front or back camera but it always defaults to front camera only even though I clicked on back camera! Any one had an issue with this?

Me too.Back camera used to work but same as you it now defaults to front camera all the time.
