Things are obviously changing rapidly as a result of changing guidance as regards the Corona virus. We are talking to the venue and following events. We will have greater clarity this Wednesday as to what is happening and will post here and update the profile.

Hi Harry & Lisa
Really sorry but I’m going to have to pull out of this. One, I don’t know when I’m actually going to arrive back home from holiday and, two following the advice given I can’t really class this as essential travel
I’ll catch you both at the rearranged social whenever that maybe

Hi everyone. I'm really sorry but I won't be able to make it. Just came back from UK and narrowly missed a two week long quarantine. My employer has made it clear that non essential travel is off the cards and its on me if something occurs while off island 
Gutted as I was so looking forward to this and may not be able to claim back the hotel 
I'd love to attend a future event when things have some normalcy to them again  |

Brumsocial is Cancelled
Given the govt advice on minimising social contact and the expectation that this is only going to get worse before it gets better.
We have decided to cancel the social.
Its the responsible thing to do and whilst it's a great shame...we will reschedule it and when we do have the next one we shall make sure it's one to remember.
Apologies to all those that were making such amazing efforts to attend. We have a mind blowing guest list and we will be back in touch when things have calmed down.
If anyone is already committed to being in brum and has say traveled and is wondering what to do feel free to message the profile.

Hi all , given the recent govt advice and the expectation that this is going to get stricter...we have decided to postpone the social.
It's with great regret but its the responsible thing to do. We have an amazing guest list and when we do reschedule we will be in touch and make sure it's a party to remember.
Thanks for the amazing interest we have had quite spectacular numbers of people travelling from all over.

Bet they're both bank holidays. I'll struggle bank holiday weekends

You should be able to get refund or rearrange dates. I’d take the refund as who knows when travel available in the future. Most sites have statements in their websites to do with this |
