Manchester Lounge social 16th May pt 11

**currently full guestlist but can add to reserve list**

So the Manchester lounge social is back again due to popular demand for some spring fun!

The date is Saturday 16th May 2pm-8pm in central Manchester, venue details will be sent to those on the list.

Obviously the venue has a room capacity so if you want to attend, express your interest on the thread or via the LS inbox.

As usual there’ll be an optional raffle to cover costs.

Gonna put a little star besides the definitely coming profiles to save some time instead of having to send 100’s of ‘are you coming’ messages. If you’re a deffo in the sense that you have accom booked, solid plans etc please inbox the profile.

Of course if anything changes nearer the time it would be really appreciated if you let us know so the massive reserve list get a chance of a place.

At this moment we have no plans at all to cancel it's 2 months away and we have no knowledge what will even happen in 2 weeks. If government insist on a lockdown and the pub can't host us then we too are severely out of pocket, it’s just an unfortunate thing. People will have to sort their own circumstances re:accom and travel individually. Unfortunately we don't know how this will play out. But rest assured If any of you die we will raise a toast to you at the summer one!!

If government insist on a lockdown and the pub can't host us then we too are severely out of pocket, it’s just an unfortunate thing. People will have to sort their own circumstances re:accom and travel individually. Unfortunately we don't know how this will play out. Guys, can you take my name off the list please?

Schools and childcare facilities have been shut down over here since 6pm last night. I have a teenager doing state exams in a couple of months, all my extra money is gonna be ploughed into getting some home tuition for the next few weeks whilst waiting for the schools to reopen. My MLS fund will be gone

Hopefully I can make the next one when the world is corona-free!

I know there is a lot of concern regarding Covid-19. At the moment we are not changing any plans but will have a better idea mid to late April.

At present we will not be moving anyone off of the reserve list on to the main list until we have a better understanding of where the UK will be in may in regards to isolation etc.

The reason we are not moving people from the reserve list at present is due to the uncertainty in regards to lock downs and to give those already on the list first dibs if we have to move to a later date.

We are all in a unsure situation at the moment but believe us if it can go ahead it will go ahead

Hence the decision to leave it as late as possible.

The way it is going Manchester City Centre will be a ghost town by May 16th. Yes I do work in the city and walk through it daily. It is surreal!

If your hotel bookings are refundable I'd strongly suggest cancelling them. You can always rebook if things change. There might even be a few deals.
