Coming up for a few days and staying in city centre hotel. Any good places to go, clubs?

Nothing in York apart from a lap dancing club. You're nearest swinging fun would be Youtopia, just past Malton on the A64, or Isis in Leeds. If you're OK not swinging there's about 150 pubs in the city centre and a fair few dance clubs.
