Hi all,those of you that I have been in contact with this is just a new thread as the old one got too big!! All is still good for April 20th.
6 couples, 6 ladies are a yes and there are 8 men on the interested list.
Still awaiting some replies.
Any new people seeing this thread and are interested let me know.

Now at 9 couples, 8 ladies and 10 men plus myself, that would = 37 people and that of course could rise with maybes and non replies plus new people! Could easily hit 50+!!
I have ask the pub that I am looking at if there is an outside chance that we as a group can grab an area within the pub from 7pm, I am awaiting their reply but not hopeful.
I have again looked at a function room that may be available however it would mean I myself would have to put down a deposit of £150 which I would only get back if £500 was taken behind the bar between 7pm-11pm, which if there were 50+ and everyone came is feasible at £10 a head (£20 per couple therefore) but if only half actually only turned up that's £20 per head(£40 per couple) and that won't happen in the space of 4hrs!! So I can not risk that being the first time.
I have had a lovely couple in Abingdon offer their house however not being in central Oxford with not a lot of public transport and not enough car parking and probably not enough space it is not really feasible, they are not ones that have said they will come to the social but I thank them anyway.

Great news!!
At the moment I have 9 couples, 8 ladies and 10 men on my list, hopefully all of those will come and maybe more as I have secured a private area for us in a bar in Oxford from 7pm that also has a DJ later on!
As said before I will send out full details March 14th.

What I will say is that the area I have booked for us in the bar in Oxford is for about 40 people, maybe up to 50.
At the moment if all couples, ladies and men that I have on my list come there will be only space for about 10 more people! However of course being a public bar people can spread out so hopefully if more it won't be a problem.

I've decided to send out full details this week, a week earlier than first anticipated as I think now we could be at our limit! Which is good news!

1 couple has dropped out so now have space for either another couple or 2 ladies, more gents will only get on the list if any men drop out.

Great news!
Thanks to all the lovely people that came to the oxford social on Saturday April 20th and made it a great success I can CONFIRM a second oxford social in October 2019!!
Date,time,venue,capacity and all other details to be rolled out over the summer along with a new forum post.
As always couples and ladies can contact me through usual channels on fab or via kik if you have it and have mine( or ask me for it ) to show an interest, I'm also always open to meet to chat about things if anyone wants to, those that know me will know that's mainly daytimes, gentleman as before you will have to wait until the new forum post is created over the summer to express an interest unless I've already been in contact with you at some point as I will not change my profile settings.
As they used to say on police five(showing my age!!!) Keep em peeled!!

The new forum post is likely to be up late June giving 3 months to sort things out and I will contact all that came to the first social individually in June along with those already showing an interest, although everyone is welcome to contact me whenever they want to,ask anything they like etc.. and feel free to spread the word!
As said before gents that I haven't already been in contact with will have to wait for the new post.
