It may not be the best option for them though. Maybe try looking at the clubs section of fab, finding a nice local one and popping in there for a few unpressured social meets?

We'd say the OP is best off going to a club with a couple. He has people to talk to so does not look like a lemon stood all by himself. If he is with a couple who so not want to play with him it possible the couple may know other people who are more keen to play with him.
