I was told by a Fab friend that in Ireland they have a walking social group which meets up
It’s a good way to meet up with Fab members also out on the mountains we would have privacy to chat and to anyone passing by we would look like any other walking group not to mention the thrill of being in the great outdoors
I will tailor the walks to suit everyone’s abilities and fitness (we always go at the pace of the slowest walker)
We are planning to go to Snowdonia mostly but also Anglesey and are open to suggestions
I have posted in the Wales section but as quite a few in the N.W area could make it I thought I would post here as well
I am ML and MIA qualified so you are in safe and experienced hands |

"Sounds good to me
I have met people in the past to go walking but was always hindered by the lack of transportation, which is no longer a problem "
And if people are coming from the same area car pooling is an option
Could you send me a PM as I can’t message you and I can keep you updated we have a few interested people from the Wales thread |

The Lake District |
Funnily enough I was thinking about exactly this plan but up here in the Lakes.
I have no qualifications as far as arranging walks but I have lived here for 20+ years so can probably work something out if anyone is interested. I was also thinking about a pub meal afterwards- as all the best walks end in a pub.
Rather than fill up this thread PM me if interested and I will start a new thread |
