Are there any Doncaster Socials?

We're looking to network with Doncaster couples and singles for new events and parties.
Is there is already a Doncaster Social?
If yes, we don't want to tread on anybody's toes and won't organize another. And ideally we would like to attend.
If no, we're considering setting one up.
Is there enough interest in a regular organized Doncaster Social ?

We're in contact with the previous organisers, who have moved out of town. They're happy for us to pick up the reigns and restart the Socials. |

I organise regular socials in the Doncaster area I have taken a break over the last year due to health issues and a serious of operations. I’m hoping to get back to doing them shortly after my last op is out of the way this month and I’ve recovered (so from March 19 onwards) however if you’d like to organise something I wouldn’t consider it to be stepping on my toes
There’s a big demand for it in Doncaster so they’re usually pretty successful nights and I’d be happy to advise you if you’re new to organising them and want any help

We've got several other events and parties scheduled (both our own and others which we're organizing) this month.
Due to the high levels of interest, we will definitely arrange a Doncaster Social early in the New Year. |

Donny is quite a prudish place Liz even just for socials they get word they’re associated with a site like this and it’s a no go
Look at what happened at my last one but at least we found a last minute plan B x |

We have the opportunity to hold the Social in a Doncaster town centre pub. We would have the pub to ourselves as a closed function.
It's an ideal location with full agreement from the landlord for our purposes.
However it would only be available Sunday to Thursday.
What REAL interest & availability do we have among attendees if we hold it on a Sunday? |

Wednesday nights can be good for socials, middle of the week and people can usually get sitters or find decent excuses plus places like LC are open on Wednesday so if people do get the urge to play and can’t accom it’s not too far away? |

Wednesday nights at La Chambre are great for a social, it’s only £10 entry for couples , fabulous bar area and Dance floor and the bonus is if you like someone you can go off and play on the same night. Xx |

I’ve got my last operation on 17th Jan then need a bit of recovery time (6-8weeks) so anything after then I’ll advertise via my own thread when it’s set up
Should be a good turn out a lot of my old regulars are keen to see me back  |

Hi everyone. Now the Festive Season is behind us, we have time to focus on a brand new Social, as promised. We've arranged a good venue in Doncaster, easily accessible with parking.
We're looking to hold the first Twilight Social (Doncaster) on either Friday 22nd or Saturday 23rd March.
At this point we're putting the feelers out, asking if there's more of an interest for the Friday or the Saturday. We'll set the date for the option that receives more popular support by Sunday 27th January.
Looking forward to a fun evening with a vibrant mix of local and regional people.
We've opened a new forum thread for this, and we'll be messaging everyone on this thread who's shown interest.
