I like your profile and if you were closer we would contact you now we can see your pics, patience is the key now and tbh you should not be willing to pay the whole costs the split should be 50/50,(That is just my opinion).
Maybe try attending a few socials/clubs to get yourself noticed we don't do clubs but plenty of peeps do and by all accounts a good way to get into the scene.

If your willing to go to that expense then why not try joining a club? Most are really friendly or check out the social meets they're a great way of getting yourself known just remember you only get out of it what you put into it, and I don't mean the money either. If your a nice guy then that will be noticed in a club and at a social we can all say we're nice people but that's for others to judge not you.
Good luck for 2012 mate. once you do get into it you will enjoy it.
