I'll never go there again after experience of a couple of years ago..
Outbreak of Norovirus on the csmping park with no hot water, no soap in the toilets or any warnings from the site to be more cautious so it spread like wildfire.
On top of this around 45 travellers infiltrated the site and ended up witnessing 'street fighting' of around 60 guys with fists and girls pulling each others hair out next to the van. Guy across the way had the side of his caravan stoved in by two guys fighting against it.
Security refused to call the police and ultimately got a full refund on the whole wrecked weekend plus a good will gesture.
If it's an event you're heading to, just watch it doesn't get ruined as from what security told me it happens on a regular basis. It was the balloon event I'd gone to.
Apparently as quick as they was chucking them off they were back with hours on another car with different registration plates and someone else had booked them back in.
Nothing metal or of any value was safe including the towel hooks in the showers which all were stolen..
Swore I'd never go back.. |
