No problem That's what I do when I'm looking for a party/event on a specific day/weekend. You can select the region too (in your case do 2 searches, 1 for London and 1 for south east) but only select the option "organised events" otherwise you get private meets too in the results.
Also, keep checking every few days near the dates you're looking for because some events are added nearer the time.
