I was thinking of trying to arrange it at lillys lounge, which is a private function room joined on to Club 29 in Leicester, its has plenty of seating, a bar area and a big dancefloor, at a date suitable for most people. I would have to book the function room and dont want to book it and then nobody come along, so im just trying to see if and when people would be interested in doing this xx |

Im arranging a Easter Social at Lillys Lounge on New Bond Street on Sat 31st March, its £5 entrance per person, im putting a buffet on and its bring your own alcohol, let me know if any of you would like to join us xx |

If we can get enough interest from people looking for social events then the room is available to use. I think the room is ideal for swingers socials, its attached to the club but totally separate from it. With plenty of seating and a really big dance floor x |

I would be interested in going to a social. Have you been to any of the big ones before? If you want numbers you'll have to give 3-6mobths notice. I go to socials all over and so do loads of others, so people would be willing to travel. |

No I havent really been to many socials, ive been involved with hosting quite a few parties, but never socials

I've been to socials in Birmingham, York, Sheffield, Coventry and going to Manchester social next weekend. These can have around 200 on the list and about 1-150 attend. They're all different and it's what people make of them. Some hold games, others it's just like being at a social club and mingling.
Little local socials are good too, I've been to ones in Loughborough and about 20 ish would attend, but that was in a section of a bar. It's mainly about what you're aiming to get from it.
I mainly posted as you mentioned numbers, so was just saying normally need more notice. The Loughborough used to be monthly and got busier as time went on. |
