I'm staying in the Travelodge down the road.

We made a tentative plan to meet beforehand in the Derby Brewery Arms pub on Cheetham Hill Rd around the corner from the venue. An old style, but clean and friendly pub which would be a good meet point for a pre party drink.

You needn’t worry about a thing, us real people all love the fact your parties are exclusive and all bi, clubs let in pretenders fakes and total twats? We all love you guys and absolutly love your parties. Be very careful of infiltrators at this event, it might pay to check ID against a guest list at the door, it might sound OTT but if clubs have taken a interest? Just saying is all. We’d be happy to check and stay by the door with your door man? Until a reasonable time of course, karen has a SIA badge so is leagally under the law able to check ID’s Xx

The 2 clubs mentioned both are licenced by the relevant local authorities to host "gatherings". I would assume fire safety certificates, adhere to quite strict polacies regarding the number of people allowed on the premesis and possibly other certificates to keep them above the law and to allow them to trade legally.

Ask yourself........what have you got concerning safety certificates, can you tick all the boxes from a safety point of view to hold a party with 200 guests? If the Fire Brigade turn up when the party is in full flow, can you provide the relevant paperwork to show you are adhering to licencing conditions. Are you licenced to serve alcohol to paying customers? Are you declaring any profits made to Her Majestys Tax Inspector?

Sometimes its better to keep your own council and not ruffle the feathers of those that trade legitametly.

If you can say you adhere to all of the above, then fine, you keep gloating and "feather ruffling" if not........then saying nothing is possibly the better option.

I don’t think anyone’s ruffling feathers, I think people are simply making the point that the local clubs have picked up on the success of the parties and have tried to replicate it... in short well done the organisers and regular guests for making it such a good/enviable event.

As for regulations, considering the locations purpose it would seem completely the correct, safe venue for such a large gathering and I think for you to imply Sex-extra are taking risks with peoples safety just illustrates the point you haven’t got a clue about their professionalism or care towards party goers.

I hope you’re not in attendance... I’m yet to come across a guy I these gatherings who I want to bat away but I fear you and your ego may buck that trend...

If there is an issue with any comments that have been made by the hosts I can safely say that you contacting the actual hosts would have been the best way to go, there you could of talked to the hosts about any issues you may have had about the comments they made.

The venue we use is actually owed by one the biggest Swingers clubs in the Northwest and is a private venue we hire out (Can be seen on airbnb) that is allowed 160 people in for fire Regs and we are informed by the club owner is fully insured. We do have a guest list of over 200 at the minute but as anyone that run parties will know that will drop to around 120 - 150 on the night.

As for tax, we are self employed and always have and always will pay all our tax. Just to add we also give a good part of the parties donations to charity.

As a private party we don't need a licence to give free alcohol to our guests especially if a charity event or even just as a private event in a private venue.

We are proud of our parties and guests, that we are also proud to call our friends Xx We don't gloat as anyone how knows use will testify too.

Just to clarify. Manchester party pad. Isn’t a club it’s an apartment rental. And we rent to stag dos. Hen does. Birthday parties or just large parties on a break in Manchester ...,, this weekend was a party for black lush. Followed by a party for some students reunion. Week before was Manchester United football fans from Norway. And an asian henna party. Its in a industrial area. With plenty of parking and no neighbours.

Let’s hope “ Caligula “. Most prob the same type of guy with a prefect Googled six pack and make believe stunning gf. .... aka Norman 65 who lives at home with him mum. ...., fills in the right forms and has a PRS certificate when his mate Norman from the Lancashire train spotting club comes round for tea.

Wow!! Thread number 2 that would be amazing but 175 post is the max so a bit to go. We're so proud of what we have achieved with the Bi parties so much hard work but well worth it. I know we have had people put us down in the past about the Bi parties but its makes us more determing to carry on

Well the roof and front walls are now finished on the 100sq meter jacuzzi. , bbq and lounge area. The 7 man jacuzzi is up and running. The jail is being finished this week. The place is amazing Week by week Manchester party pad gets better and better. Thanks to our crack team working 7 days a week between a busy party season. If you come and see it and think it’s awesome then wait till our Liverpool party pad opens in kirkdale ( Everton football club ) very soon. .....it’s so busy that we’re booked up every weekend. Till August.

I'd say yes but would caveat we may find the quality of attendees might drop which would be a crying shame. I'm sure 12 parties a year is a lot for those that travel, have families etc and I appreciate the guest list would still need filling... You're the best guys to answer the question, if there's 100 surplus quality requests each party then maybe its not an issue.

These are special lovely times for us, a pleasure to attend, but, business may take over the care you put into arranging them, they may loose that special zing? And or turn into a all you can eat buffet for the knob heads? We now have a waiting list of around 40 vetted Bi couples, 12 tv's and nearly 80 single bi-men all from all around the UK & infact worldwide that made us wonder if to hold theses more frequently & the reason we asked the question.

We are concerned like others the parties will not be seen as so exclusive if we do more but the ammount of Bi couple, Bi singles,Tv's, TS's & Trans people asking to attend grows larger by the day and beginning to weight very heavy on our shoulders.

Saying NO we are full is very hard to do day after day, message after message. Really we could have filled this party twice over and we didnt promote the party this time for that very reason.

Straight people are even begging to let them in saying they are bi-friendly

We are think the solution maybe to do more different events, maybe a TV Admirer party all vetted same way as the Bi parties and start doing other mixed party events for everyone but all vetted on fad with 3 Verifactions at least and to have to be verified by fab and been on fad at least 3 months.

Just ideas at the minute but we will have to do somthing at some point as over 60% of guest list each party now are repeat guests and that number keeps growing after each party. New guest are finding near impossible to get on the guest list because we fill up so fast. We filled up within 2 weeks last time with bi-couples and have been collecting a reserve list ever since for last 3 weeks. Some couple didn't want to go on reserve list and why I say we could have filled this party twice over.

My view for what it is worth. Your fantastic parties are still early days in that you have created a great reputation and following in a short space of time. Don’t break the mystique at this stage and stick to 2 monthly. Maintain the high standards and anticipation and reputation. Monthly potentially becomes just another party rather than a special night everyone looks forward to. I would let it run for a few more before potentially changing. Then how about going “on tour” to another city? I reserve the right to change my mind if I miss out on the April guest list!!

Therein lies the problem, big amounts of new Bisexual people will not be able to get on the April guest list and they will have to wait another two months until the June party, which will be by then four months for a guest list they probably will not get on again. At some point these people give up waiting and just don't bother because your guest list is always full.

If we hold more parties in any form we are not asking people to come to every one and we wouldn't expect them too. We tend to agree with if the demand is there we can't see a problem. We understand about the mystic and exclusivity of the party but believe me when I say even if we went monthly there would still be people fighting for places on the guest list still but at least they would have a chance of getting on it unlike at the minute.

In some effects we have built a Bisexual monster that will not stop growing. We know some of it is down to the way we hold the parties but we strongly believe Bisexual people didn't have anything like our parties before we came along and the word has spread so much now lot & lots of other bisexual people want to see what all the fuss is about and get on the guest list.

The way its looking around 80% of the guest list by April will be Previously Attended & Repeat party goers

this is great and we are very proud of it and thank all our wonderful guest for it but we are going to need to let other Bisexual people experience the same thing and the only way we can do that possibly is to hold more party events in some form or other.

My view on this is whatever you decide to do it’s going to be popular..... apart from being great friends you are also amazing party organisers ..... you’ve enabled all of us bi people to be just who we are in an environment that’s safe and exciting and the same time - with no fear of offending anyone else xx
