I am not a professional by any stretch of the imagination but I do an awful lot of product photography and the stills for a friend when he was running a porno video business.
I have my work published and my product photography is on my company website, but as they say above ask to see their work etc..
I use a canon 5d and eos 60d with some pretty cool lighting and backdrops.. They are great cameras for low light and photographing difficult shots..
I photograph a lot of glass and chrome which does require a certain skill level..
So as they said if you want a monkey with an iphone expect those sort of pics.. |

you really need to see peoples work and they should have a collection on line else where.
I have shot a fair few models and have a good idea of what to do as you can see from the pics.
plan a good location with some nice natural light.
ignore the phone v camera arguments. a phone will never take a pic like a 85mm f1.2 on a full frame camera |

I'm not interested, I'm a photographer and use full frame canon. I'm not changing so carry on doing what you want with your phone. |

Google "Girlzart photography uk" - this only shows the safe pics as allowed by UK law but, being on here you know I can be broadminded too. Either way I'm good, well published and have had exhibitions in Central London too.
I'm now a semi-retired pro erotic photographer with many, many pics to show...but not allowed on here. I now only really do it for mutual fun. If I agree to shoot your wife, it will probably be for free.

PS: Plus I need verifying and thus this may be a realistic method to achieve this. The girls I've "swung" with so far haven't been verified themselves..hence a problem!
I'm happy to advise/help any other members with their photographic needs. However, ALL my clients to date have been women (and men as couples with women). I have little experience of shooting erotic photography of men and being totally straight myself, don't enjoy the prospect of doing this either.
Erotic photography does NOT automatically include swinging activity with me...everything is optional and worth talking openly about.
If you can talk openly to me, I can create totally erotic photographs no matter where and with whom. Good photography has little to do with body-shape and everything to do with how horny you are feeling at the time. e.g. when photographing women who have never met me before I ask them to bring a dildo/rabbit with them to the shoot! My style of photography is so totally different from portrait photographers you may see on the High Street!!!

A good photographer will always have an instagram account, good way to showcase pictures they take. Just ask for there ID. I do a lot of landscape shots around the world so this kind of work does not interest me but people offering should be able to show you previous work they have done online in some way. |

For sure Makes me chuckle though when people comment on a phone camera as if it were a Box Brownie.
I'm an S7 Edge point and shoot kind of guy but the bottom line is that that phone camera is almost as capable as a high end dslr in the right hands. |

Erotic photography has nothing to do with how horny someone is!! The fact you only shoot erotic photography to get horned up yourself is quite disturbing if you are a photographer. The most important thing in a shoot is lighting, get that right and your 80% there. I have taken pictures of men, women a d couple's, and at no point have I ever not enjoyed my work cause the shoot didn't make me horny. As a photographer in there to produce images for you and capture the scene you want capturing, not to get my kicks and out stuff in the wank bank. |

OP reading through this thread, i wouldn't trust anyone. Just seems to be a load of guys just wanting to take pics of your wife to get off on. Im sure with a little practice and playing with lighting you could take some lovely pics of your wife and have fun doing it. If you after professional pictures then maybe try google, sure everyone here becomes a professional photographer when they are presented with an opportunity. World renown photographer's earn a lot more than £1000 a shoot. Just saying. And nothing ive said previous to this was directed at you. You have no reason to try and justify yourself to me, you are right, i do know nothing about you, hence why i have not directed anything at you. You have half the battle won.
You have a great location and model.
Set your canon on av mode but set to take pics on the darker side maybe 3/4 of a stop less than it would.
Have a look on purpleport for ideas. The top pics of the day don't resemble the ones on here. They are very good on there.
Shoot in Raw as that gives more scope to edit your pics if slightly wrong.
If you canon has a flash,don't use it. It won't create very arty pics.
