York Big Social Friday 2nd March 7.30pm
This is our 1st social of 2018 and we can’t wait to see you all again. As always it’s held in a large private room at a venue close to the city centre, we have a DJ booked for your evenings music.
It’s a chance to meet new and existing friends. £5 per couple/singles (entry money goes towards future events i.e. Booking DJ's)

Our charity this time is lymphoma cancer association and is a charity close to us as hosts.
*******************************************
People travel from all over the north to attend. If you think you'd like to attend or would like more information just let us know. Venue detail are only given to people when on the list. But the venue is in central York and private.

As hosts we won’t be setting up or joining a kik page but i’m Sure other guests might be interested. I’d also book your hotel sooner rather than later as they fill up fast

It would be good if attendee Fabbers posted their hotels so Fabber spotting in the hotel bars could be arranged..tell tale signs such as black rings, ankle bracelets, etc. |

York Big Social Friday 2nd March 7.30pm
This is our 1st social of 2018 and we can’t wait to see you all again. As always it’s held in a large private room at a venue close to the city centre, we have a DJ booked for your evenings music.
It’s a chance to meet new and existing friends. £5 per couple/singles (entry money goes towards future events i.e. Booking DJ's)

Our charity this time is lymphoma cancer association and is a charity close to us as hosts.

People travel from all over the north to attend. If you think you'd like to attend or would like more information just let us know. Venue detail are only given to people when on the list. But the venue is in central York and private.

There was over 100 on the list for the Christmas event by this time and we all know there’s some who put their name down yet don’t turn up, so with 50 couples on the list only 35 may turn up for various reasons
The room hire and dj stil need to be paid
Just didn’t want to book a room then find the event gets cancelled due to low numbers
Hence asking the question as a leeds Social was cancelled last year at the last minute with some people out of pocket
Seems sensible to me to ask the question which has now been answered . I’m sure I wasn’t the only one thinking it |

There is no way this long established social would be cancelled by the hosts this is the best supported social in Yorkshire and everyone who attends loves it I doubt any regular attendees would have even thought it would get cancelled it’s run by fantastic hosts who work very hard to make everyone welcome |

We understand your concern and thank you for raising it. We hope you are satisfied with your reply and as said we go from strength to strength and we will continue to do so. My one concern about your query though is you aren’t actually on our guest list for single guys? As posted earlier all places are taken and we are running a reserve list so no guarantee of getting a place so it would be quite unwise to book a hotel anyway? But again thank you for your comments |

We keep single males to a ratio of couples, it’s unlikely we will add more but if some drop out we have a reserve list of guys to take their place. |

As hosts we are extremely busy through the evening with checking ppl in, looking after new or nervous guests and doing the charity raffle. We simply don’t have time for guess who games lol |

Don’t feel too nervous, we are a very friendly bunch and we can even meet people outside the venue if you are nervous about coming in by yourself. Just let one of us know beforehand so we can arrange it for you |
