I was on the previous list with fitman 100. We have couples profile too so please could we be added as 'old and new'. It was arranged with old organisers that I was running a clubwear and lingerie stall along with my friend from pleasureattic.com. Can someone confirm that we are still OK to do this.

Also just a suggestion and in no way trying to tell you your job because you do a great job but maybe an idea to contact everyone directly who were on the original list to ensure they can still make it as I know there was a reserve list too. Xxx

Best night at Pandora’s

. Massive turn out. Lots of people to perv over lol. Was great you had a sexy stall with toys and sexy outfits to buy. Picked up a few bits lol. Congrats to the original organisers for making it a great night. Hopefully will get the word out how big Pandora’s really is and how great it is as a club

The £5 donation on entry was for Angels in Africa, not Martin House Children's Hospice as stated in the Fabnorth forum posts.

I don’t know why or who decides to change the charity but personally I don’t think that’s right. All the people signed up originally based on supporting a children’s hospice. Coming up to Christmas that money would make such a difference so it’s really uncharitable to do that

Pandora staff have told me they had no details for Martin house but typing it into google was fairly easy for me.

Personally I’d prefer my donation to still go to the children’s hospice as originally intended please Pandora

We are sorry you feel this way about the charities

, so I'm going to tell you a little bit about the work that Angels Across Africa do, so that you might feel better about this, coming up to christmas

AAA educates, empowers and supports orphans and under-privileged children and their families across Africa. They are helping to provide these under-privileged children with a healthy and successful start to life by ensuring that their families have access to basic services, such as life-saving health and nutrition advice, and by providing a strong foundation for their formal education in order to prepare these children for future success. Basic education is a right entitled to all children; AAA prioritises this over everything else.

Sheilla (Owner of the Club) does a lot of hard work for this charity, and it is a charity that she feels very strongly about. After having a chat with her yesterday, she plans to use the money that was raised at the social to pay for a Christmas party for these children, along with clothes and other needed essentials that we take for granted. This will ensure that these children and families will have some kind of Christmas this year, thanks to everyone that came to the social and helped out yesterday at the social

At least I have shown that socials can be organised without needing to charge an entry fee and can be successful.

And at least 232 people agree with you.

I just read there was a £5 donation charge! It’s a real pity that didn’t go to your chosen charity bobby it was a great cause and they could really have used it very unfair on you and the charity in my opinion

Hi Jen I don’t think anyone’s saying AAA is not a deserving charity, I’m certainly not. The issue is that people signed up to support a children’s hospice in the run up to Christmas. I personally thinks it’s in poor taste to pull this donation from them. Even if you feel strongly about your charity, I think it would be great for you to support the original charity because it was bobby and his hard work based on supporting Martin House that filled the place last night. How about splitting the donation 50-50?

Pandora Website still has an advert displayed for the 3 Dec social. It says there will be a £5 voluntary donation on entry to a children's hospice. So the change of charity was never publicised by Pandora.
