Right then, checking out interest and ideas.
This really is dipping toe in the water time and not confirming anything.
I have taken inspiration from the FABTASTIC Manchester social (thank you once again all involved *tips hat in admiration*)
So, obviously Birmingham is the main place, but now I'm thinking possibly Dudley (not just because it's close to me) but for the following reasons.
Hotels would be cheaper
There are plenty of places to eat
There are (believe it or not) places to go for those that want a bit of culture (the black country living museum is hugely popular and where they film Peaky Blinders)
It's also only 10-15 by car from xtasia and Chams for those that wanted to hit a saucy club afterwards.
However, the regular night life scene would obviously be better in Brum.
Would be easier to find a location to hire for free
Loads of places to park
What are the main points you will be looking for? |

This is where my brain has gone, as much as Brum is awesome, I'm trying to think of ease for everyone. And Brum is only a bus/train/tram away for anyone that wanted to head into town. |

Would be handy for us, and I did worry about getting a venue in Birmingham. Not many pubs have free function rooms available there. But Dudley is close as well. Let me know if I can help in anyway. X |

I will admit I have only attended organised socials in a proper club, that happened over an evening/weekend, otherwise it is not worth my while travelling to say a picnic for a few hours, just my opinion |

I went to an organised social in Birmingham City centre on another swingers site a few years ago now. Was good for people travelling long distance because most trains in the country go to Birmingham New Street. Plenty of hotels in city centre. We met at pub on broad Street and did a bit of a bar crawl around broad Street, pubs in Mailbox and the Arcadian centre. Was a great fun day/night out and lots of people attended from all over the country. If you did this during daytime then as you suggested Xtasia or chams very local if people wanted to go to a club on the evening? |

Though I live in sunny Buckinghamshire, my regular club is Chameleons and I would be up to meet for a social in Dudley, Birmingham or Wolverhampton. Walsall may also be an option. Only thing is will you understand my suburban London accent? |
